They're pretty fruity looking, but I like their music. Especially Kids, and Time to Pretend.

Kids: MGMT - Kids

Time to Pretend: MGMT - Time To Pretend

They're one of those bands I find myself tapping my foot to and knowing the words to the songs in spite of yelling at myself, "NO, STOP, CAN'T LIKE POP SONGS."

Re: MGMT Reply #5 on: January 20, 2010, 02:13:54 AM
Meh, MGMT are to 2009 what Scissor Sisters were to 2006.

Over-fucking-exposed.

Re: MGMT Reply #6 on: January 21, 2010, 05:11:52 AM
They are one of those bands that I find myself saying "Wow, this is some gay shit" to.  This is homo music.

Better than most pop on the radio
Loaded-Gun.com - I don't know what the hell they are talking about or why they are even there. They don't make serious points and they don't joke, but they still manage to make a lot of posts somehow.

And it's not quite as gay as sucking cock.

No, it's more like saying that KY jelly isn't as wet as water. It's still sort of semi-liquid, just not as much as water.
