CFT: I really dislike Spiral Cut Ham. I like my baked pig in big lean chunks.

The original horror story as reported on the internet is to be considered a hoax and the issue doesn't bother me in the least. I still find the idea interesting though, and the concept was originally-originated by a real students concerns.

The plastic does often get stretched by the expansion of the frozen foods, and the shrinking of the molecular matrix of the plastic due to the cold could also work to exclude or pop out certain molecules that shrink at a differing rate and refuse to fit their smaller address.

I don't worry about it. Any such effect would be on to small of a scale to be relevant.

Today my sister and I marinated some really thinly sliced boneless pork chops with olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper, and a couple dashes of worcestershire sauce. Same treatment minus the last ingredient for slices of table squash, and we let them sit for about six hours before grilling. Grilled them with the oil-soaked rosemary sprigs around the grill. Then we made toasted panini!

You want some fried eggplant, come on, I know you do.

That plate is really nice to look at.

I just made a concoction of curried peanut sauce with almonds, steamed veggies, and jasmine rice steamed with curry spices. Num.

Throw down the procedure, I'll give it a try.

I made wholewheat linguine with a spicy tomato and veg sauce the other night. Been eating it with fresh basil for lunch the last couple of days.

Tonight I made a vegetable stew, and it is fucking fantastic.

My fiance and I went to California pizza kitchen last weekend and discovered that the hummus platter & the arugula and roasted asparagus salad make a better pizza than their actual pizzas.

I've been making them at home - roasted asparagus and mushrooms on extra large whole wheat pitas with hummus, sunflower seeds, and arugula.  All the comfort of eating pizza with none of the cheese.

Cheese is good.

Cheese is awesome, but gets used way more than it should, just to bulk things up. It's pretty much always a component of sandwiches, even when the sandwich has so many other things going on that you'll hardly taste the cheese. Also, pizza with a reasonable amount of cheese is way better than pizza drowning in that shit.

Damn straight!

I'm fond of mushrooms and anchovies on pizza too but most people disagree.

I just bought a block of Cabot Habanero Cheddar to snack on.

They're not plants either.

fungus =/= meat. doesnt matter if its a plant or not.

otherwise the whole quorn as a meat substitute is a bit silly.
