Are these still sold anywhere? Can you get them online?

What was their principal ingredient?

Uh yeah thanks captain boggle. I think the shit has been outlawed or something. I did quite a bit of searching before I posted this and all I could find is a few small boxes of old inventory on ebay.

Hydrogen peroxide has quite a bit of oxygen it it doesn't it? I suck at chemistry.

And yes I can understand why it is now impossible to find in the US, it's a primary ingredient in IED's.

The image doesn't show up at all for me, I did a quote and pasted the .jpg link and it redirected to that sites home page. So um, I don't know what it was supposed to be.

Two guys sitting at a table in a restaurant. Waiter comes, asks if he can take their drink order.

Guy #1 says, "I'm a chemist, so I'll just have some H20."

Guy #2 says, "LOL, I'll have some H20 too."

Waiter brings the drinks, they both drink, Guy #2 dies. Guy #1 calls him an idiot.

The End.

Hrm, makes no sense.

But it's about hydrogen and oxygen so I guess it's relevant.

H2O is water. H2O2 is hydrogen peroxide. I don't know much about chemistry, but I think it means that water has two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen, whereas hydrogen peroxide is two of each. Pretty big difference, though, in terms of drinking the stuff.

The other weird thing (to me) is that hydrogen (at least in gas form) is really flammable, and oxygen is required for things to burn. But you put the two together in the right mixture and you can put fires out with the result.

..and oxygen is required for things to burn. But you put the two together in the right mixture and you can put fires out with the result.<<

Nope not gonna happen. When you break water apart into principal gases they arrive at the perfect ratio for recombination. They go bang! (seriously). There is no possible situation of oxygen and hydrogen together as gases being capable of extinguishing a fire. Unless you can completely smother it with one or the other. In any combination the gases are flammable and water is the by product but only after complete recombination.

Recombination is a violent process. You couldn't use the water result to stop a fire because you would only create an even bigger conflagration in the process.  You might put out the fire eventually, but only after a massive explosion and all available oxygen was depleted.

Ah but you must be speaking of the combined form or as we know it "water". Does seem weird huh.

You can make a really powerful bomb from water. Don't need anything else except a confinement vessel and energy.
