For a baby boomer I was never asked, Vaccinations were done at school without child or parent authorization. We didn't have a say, they were mandatory!

I'm 45, I never get sick, and I never get the newest vaccines ...

Reason: I was vaccinated as a child; I'm aight now ...

Well the video is family safe but is pretty long and covers a lot of interesting ground I had never heard before (think JFK). There is a bit of self aggrandizing in the later portion but there is more good info close to the end.

I had all mandatory vaccinations in grade school and even more in the .mil
I had one extra tetanus shot once when applying for a job with the school district but have never had a flu shot and like you almost never get sick.
But I do have some ongoing long standing health problems.

Wanted to add, you probably received safer vaccinations than I, as a baby boomer the things they are talking about directly effects me.

 
 
A lot of it was still experimental even the few years older that you than I am ...
I know for a FACT they were still "tweaking" a few of them when I was younger ...
Then, all of a sudden, it all just came in "cocktail mode" ... (All mixed together) ...
My brothers and I are all 3 years apart ... 45, 42, 39 ...
In that 6 year span they really just got the "cocktail" down, so to speak ...
So much so that if some children had reaction, they didn't know which ones to remove ...
My youngest brother had that, and they gave him a little at a time to "see which one(s)" were the cause ...

He got Chicken Pocks 3X in his youth; each one worse than the next ...
Go figure that one out ...
