Cold Water Extraction(Read 5735 times)

Anyone ever used the cold water extraction technique to distill the opiates from Vicoden?

Was the experience worth the trouble?

I almost did once, but ended up not being able to score.  It is DEFINITELY worth the trouble if you're one of those people (like me) that need to take fifteen Vic 5's to get high or if you have liver problems.  If you are going to consume more than 4 grams of paracetamol in a 24 hour period, do a fucking extraction.

Look Hairy butch or whatever your name is, I understand you are only here for your own amusement, so having said that fuck the hell off and die. You and your numerous aliases are nothing beyond irritating.

I wasn't thinking of the usual usage where you drink the extract to avoid the Tylenol, DM. Although that in itself seems worth the effort. What I was wondering about is how far it would have to be refined to be able to add it to a bowl of bud like real opium and smoke it?

Something beyond the cold water extraction on into at least 90% evaporation I would assume. Something of a tar like consistency I imagine.

Loaded-Gun.com - I don't know what the hell they are talking about or why they are even there. They don't make serious points and they don't joke, but they still manage to make a lot of posts somehow.

oddly enough, the reason I found myself on hip forums was looking for a solid cwe method....

this one is a pretty tedious and long process but I assure you it's worth it

which she stole from here:

nonetheless, it works.

If you're going to do all that shit why don't you just plant some of your own poppies?

Re: Cold Water Extraction Reply #18 on: April 30, 2009, 12:47:48 PM
poppies require little to no care, as for good seeds i dont know.... my gramma planted these bad boys years ago, I do know they are of an oriental variety and a brilliant orange/red...

I also know from reading shit on hf that there are wayyyy better varieties...just gotta do your homework;)

Re: Cold Water Extraction Reply #19 on: April 30, 2009, 01:28:05 PM
Yeah the correct variety is critical. Poppies are our state flower, but those are yellow and useless, plus it's against the law to pick them. I thought opium poppies were purple?

Re: Cold Water Extraction Reply #20 on: April 30, 2009, 01:45:05 PM
from what i understand purple is preferable for potency but you can still get what you're looking for from other colors....the orange has never disappointed me BUT i'm also a lightweight and only use opiates in season so that could make a difference

Papaver somniferum - Legal in many states as long as they are only used for ornamentation. If the Afghans can make them into heroin using rustic tools, apart from the relatively poor growing conditions, so can your average hippy.

Re: Cold Water Extraction Reply #22 on: April 30, 2009, 04:49:22 PM
you should check out ebay tru, there's lots of good stuff for cheap on there.

Re: Cold Water Extraction Reply #23 on: April 30, 2009, 05:18:36 PM
Yeah I just checked and there is a poppy plant for sale there, only $2

Thanks for the link DoorMouse, I did a little searching and found out the seeds and plants are actually legal in the US.
Funny the same site says they can't send hops seeds to Ca. I wonder whats up with that?

I'm going to order an assortment of the poppy seeds and some wormwood seeds. Maybe some Salvia seeds too.
