Title: Facebook and remote humans
Post by: Tru on June 13, 2020, 05:25:54 AM
We don't have a tech corner so I'll put it here.
This is interesting.

Now I fucking know you can drive someone crazy using certain microwave techniques, but can you actually kill them by remote? I'm thinking ... maybe.

There would have to be a way ...
I mean, if you can open a locked car using a key-fob and and cellphone .... Why not?

I watch the news and keep hitting the power button. No one ever dies.

No, it's either his ghost, or a clever clone ...
Word has it that some EmpsCum got into (or onto) the wrong hands a few years back ...

LOL it must be him he has the moderator color. Only some one signed in with his cred would achieve that.  Just assuming, I still can't change my sig, little on change the color of my handle. Or anything else.

I just remembered that this place exists!

I suppose people could be dying and my aim just sucks.

Depends on what you're shooting with.
Unless by Aim you mean awareness. I'm old and the thing to the saying, there is nothing to fear except fear itself. Now that is a paraphrase but points out what I'm getting at.
Well that sounds contrived.

Really all I wanted to say is I'm old with heart problems (4 way bypass) and haven't been a bit afraid of being in public since the very start. Even during the times when people were basically looting the stores by buying basket loads of stuff emptying the shelves in some sections. And all packed together in the store. I hope they liked all that shit sitting in their garage for months.

Oh btw I am 100% covid free, tested twice now

^5 ...

I think Emp also dumped FB; we all need an outlet for out asshattery ...
(I'm rarely on FB myself; I pull it up maybe once a week ...
... and close it the second I get to post #5 of "Trump" and/or "Covid" bullshit)

I seldom post on Facebook now. I haven't quit entirely because there are still people i wouldn't keep up with otherwise.

I've been working on my own web page but keep getting distracted from doing anything with it - trying to do part reading journal, part exercise journal, part music journal.

There's more to the world than Trump, but somehow every story in the news is about him. I mean, I hate him and think he sucks and all, but I don't want to think about him all day. I think people forget that the news is propaganda; hundreds of stories aren't getting reported when they just talk about Trump and/or Covid 24/7.

Exactly why I just breeze through it on FB ...
People seem way too obsessed about it ...
... All of it

And the next couple months it's going to get even worse ....
