Who here besides C and myself like it? What kind do you like?

My preferred cider is Woodchuck, more specifically 802.

Hers is Strongbow.

Yeah, ditto. Actually, more often than not I find myself halfway through one wishing I had a beer instead. I do like it, I just like beer better.

Yeah, cider in the States is like thick apple juice, right? And what we call cider you guys call hard cider or something?

Re: Cider Reply #15 on: March 29, 2009, 02:03:38 PM
i think magners is the same in the states as it is in europe, same with strongbow.  some of the american ones, like cider jack or woodchuck are too sweet.  woodpecker is good, especially on tap, i think that's english though.  cider is definitely better on tap cos even the sweet ones come out a little more dry.  no one i know likes it sweeter, i don't get why strongbow isn't more popular in the states.

Re: Cider Reply #16 on: March 29, 2009, 03:40:26 PM
Yeah I don't love a lot of the Woochuick flavors such as Pear and Granny Smith. 802 is the best. Surprisingly, the Raspberry isn't too horrible.

I can't drink a lot of cider in one setting, it does get a bit sweet. I usually mix up what I'm drinking, like cider and then mixed drinks, etc.

i don't drink beer cos i medically can't - autoimmune issue (celiac disease).  i used to though, before i was diagnosed - but i was diagnosed when i was 18, so whatever beer i drank was of the i-can-get-my-hands-on-it variety.  including the warm ones i kept in a "liquor cabinet"

one day, when i was 17, my mom found my "liquor cabinet."  when she questioned me about it, i told her i was depressed and was going to take a nap.  she never bothered me about it again.

Might as well complain about shit that actually does something instead of an annoyance you have to deal with in order to understand the poster's joke? You make no sense sir.

I usually put my saddest jokes or most boring thoughts in micro specifically to avoid annoying others.
What options do i have left? Just shutting up?
