Title: Let's get some audio clips of your ugly voices!

I'll first be using Sound Recorder (built into Windows) to record the script. Then, I will upload it to tinypic.com.

Eitje- FYI yours is really low for some reason and barely audible.

I like danzig's voice, he speaks well. Mosh's voice is pretty hot + awesome too.

Just five minutes ago is the first time I've ever looked in this thread.. I probably wouldn't have listened except for the notice that there was a special message for me.

You have an excellent speaking voice, very proper with excellent diction. I might be so inclined as to describe it as hot. I'm wondering what I did to provoke such a message though, I've really been well behaved lately.

I apologize about swearing at the start, but vocaroo is running like shit today so I was just hitting the record button over and over and over again and cursing and suddenly I realized it was recording. I also didn't have the official script in front of me so I just improvised.

Whoever tunes in to hear this message will probably experience the same annoying problems with getting it to actually run. It keeps saying "Could not find server!" So you may have to keep hitting the play button repeatedly. I find that cursing helps as well.

EDIT: OK well it seems to be totally non-responsive right now. Maybe it'll be back up tomorrow... Whatever. I tried.

I don't get it, clicking or right clicking doesn't explain anything about what the problem seems to be. This mic I'm using is cheap and sounds a little muffled but should be good enough for this.

I have a professional mic and mixer and a stand somewhere, but I'm not about to go dig it out for this. Well the stand is right here and I might use it since it is right here.

You're right Fuse, the new recording is very loud, I has to turn the volume down to about 10%.

Thanks man, it's not as good as I've done it before but this was sort of forced.
I used to be able to do a great version of the Archie Bunker theme, doing both Archie and Edith's parts ... but not any more.

I tried to do a couple of songs and wasn't happy with how it sounded but I've never actually recorded myself before so this is a learning experience. I may post vocal covers for a couple of songs before this thread disappears.

Elvis's Teddy Bear comes to mind, only a short version with lyric twist. about 15 years ago when the Elvis impersonator phase was in full swing I could do this short version pretty good, good enough to make the ladies take notice when I claimed I could do him better than the guys on TV, but I have never been able to come even close to his normal speaking voice.

I wish the internet had come along for us 30 years earlier, it could have changed my life. I've really noticed my voice (just like my eyesight) going downhill over the past 15.

I was pretty messed up when I did those. I've never been able to perform in front of people. Almost like a paralyzing fear of ridicule. I have never done Karaoke in my life. But I'm so old now, it doesn't matter. And my cheap mic which came with the sound blaster sound card I ordered for my new 80286 way back in the day seems to work pretty well.

I'll do a couple more if allowed. Maybe I'll even do a whole song or two.
But don't get excited, I only know old songs.

I would rather produce an A Capella version of my own.

I've be practicing a bit and when I start all my cats think something is wrong with me. When you try to sing something and every cat in the house appears with worried looks on their faces and climbs up to look you right in your face how good could it possible be?
