We got any other nerds up in hurr?
I'd say so, yes. (http://loaded-gun.com/index.php/topic,75.0.html)
But I see no reason why we can't have a new thread.
-
tee hee!
-
I'm a Fruit Ninja master. I play Word with Friends too and get my ass handed to me every time by Sasha. What do you play Commie?
-
holy lols! that was adorable baggie.. but get on my level newb.
I mostly pc game these days.. Any of y'll nigga on steam? left for dead 2, dead island... lets keel zombie together?
I've been going over to my friends house lately to get drunk... talk shit and beat her ass at the newest mortal kombat.. The only consoles i personally own atm is wii and snes.. i have access to a ps3 whenevs i want and pre ordered lollipop chainsaw because that shit looks mega badass.
also.. ummm.. ya.. I play teh World Of Warcrafts. :-[
might end up doing diablo3 if i can score a free code.. I'm on the 30 day friend pass shit seems pretty weaksauce but i can't play with anyone so that's probs why.
I'll have to check out fruit ninja.. I suck butt at words with friends. :'(
-
I saw Max Payne 3 at Walmart today, that shit should totally be on torrent by now.
-
Awesome. I loved the first two in the Max Payne series.
Haha yeah Commie, I don't know what happened to me. I haven't been a big gamer in 5-6 years. I have an Xbox 360 with 10 or so unopened games I've had for years. It's sad really.
-

Send them to mama! i'll play the fuck outta dems. ;D

>>I mostly pc game these days.. Any of y'll nigga on steam? left for dead 2, dead island... lets keel zombie together?<<
PC all the way. But Dead Island has multi player? I wasn't aware of that. The original SP game fucks you over so much in the way it saves progress that after several tries I had to delete the bitch.
-
I've been playing Minecraft: the Xbox 360 version since its release, and I like it well enough. I hope they update it soon to the recent full version though, the version xbox has now is the beta from years ago. You can punch sheep and get wool.
-
Uhm, I'll just play this like the other "MotherFucking XXXXX Thread" threads ...
GAME: The Legend Of Zelda
-
dead island is on sale for 11.99 on steam.. get that shit y'll and keel zombies with me?
-
I've been playing the shit out of Dynasty Warriors Empire 6 between jobs and reading.
Currently have for Xbox 360:
Skyrim
Alien vs. Predator
Need 4 Speed Hot Pursuit
Left 4 Dead 2
Fallout 3
Fallout: New Vegas
COD: Black Ops
COD: MW3
Halo Reach
Crysis 2
I would play more PC games since I can't find decent strategy games on the console. However, I am stuck with shitty electronics for the moment and can't run a good game without the necessary video adapters, ram, and processor speed.
-
Downloaded Max Payne 3 last night, it was labeled a reloaded release but it turned out to be a password protected rar hidden inside another rar with a fake nfo. I downloaded only the nfo first and it seemed like it might be real so did the full download overnight. Good thing I didn't waste any time waiting for it.
Fake torrent.
-
Spore soured me on PC games forever. I won't even touch a game unless it's on Xbox 360 now, and even a good number of those are shit, but the chances that it'll be good are at least a lot higher.
I have MW3 but only played it for a week before getting distracted by some other game. I played Mass Effect 3's multi forever and a day, I hope they add some good stuff to it soon in a DLC pack that's not just a bunch of new useless weapons and characters with like, two maps.
I have that batman city game via gamefly but haven't tried it out yet. I hear it's really good. Then again lots of people said that about the Arkham Asylum batman game but then I found out they must have all been batman fanboys that'd pay 50 bucks for a tetris clone if it had batman in it because that game sucked shit.
-
For my birthday I'm getting a ps3. Any game recommendations?
-
Gran Turismo
-
I'm actually groovin' on Skyrim at this time; I don't usually like games of this nature ...
Wait, that's on the xBox360 ...
-
Skyrim is a spin off of Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
But Dishonored is better.
Much better.
-
I know; I've seen her play that too ...
... and Morrowind (which Elder Scrolls is spun off from), and .... etc ...
I'm not a "gamer", per say, however, I was intrigued by the game watching her play it ...
... I finally said FUCK IT, made a character, and have fun fucking off with it
-
Dishonored has several possible endings. I think it's one of the best games I have ever played.
Though a machine gun or sniper rifle would have been nice.
But out of context.
-
it's the elder scrolls series, none of them are 'spin offs' of each other. :S
I'm actually groovin' on Skyrim at this time; I don't usually like games of this nature ...
Wait, that's on the xBox360 ...
i played it on computer, i did like it.
-
I'd like the idea of "console commands" on the PC version to correct a few things that fucked up on the X360 version ...
(There's a few bugs in the game, and even more with the expansion packs) ...
-
Yeah it's hard for them to get everything right. I didn't notice too many bugs in the PC version of Skyrim. It did crash a few times and once or twice my character got stuck and I had to reload but mainly because I always go in places where I'm not really supposed to.
-
Story of my life ...
Hahahaha!!!
But, yeah, it is ...
Did you play PC or console?
-
PC all the way.
-
http://www.pathofexile.com/ (http://www.pathofexile.com/)
completely free.
-
Hmmmm ....
-
Deus Ex Human revolution is good, I liked the choice of endings.
Now playing Batman arkham asylum. I never really liked batman till now.
Gran Turismo
I'll get this at some point. Atm I'm borrowing games so I don't have to buy 'em.
-
Those sound a little dated, what's the time frame on the arkham asylum? Seems like I played that years ago.
-
I'm a Fruit Ninja master.
That says soooo much....
-
I hear Commander Keen is pretty radical!
-
Those sound a little dated, what's the time frame on the arkham asylum? Seems like I played that years ago.
Yeah they are from a few years ago. I think AA was 2009 maybe? But I don't want to pay for games and dated doesn't bother me. I got right to the end and then got bored so I haven't finished it yet.
I finished Assassins Creed 2 (oh Ezio!) and now I'm on Assassins Creed 3. I probably won't finish it though, I've started to lose interest and I'm supposed to give it back this weekend.
I've started Bioshock which I'm finding more interesting (but absolutely fucking terrifying).
-
I hear Commander Keen is pretty radical!
Dude Commander Keen is awesome!
-
Duke Nuke'Em or die, motherfuckers!
-
Music but game related.
Dishonoured

Bioshock Infinite

These are ridiculously good. The guy is just amazing.
-
I started playing Resident Evil 6. Have you played it Tru? I want to know how long it will take me to complete
I've also just bought The Bureau which apparently isn't that long so might try to bash that out this week instead aha.
-
Really nice to see a post by you Nitya.
But sorry, I haven't played any games this year at all.
I hope the windows interface for RE6 is better than previous issues.
I'll have to check it out. But I just got a new contract from SAIC this week to design printed wire boards for a Japan specific Patriot Missile system so it may be a couple weeks before I can actually check it out.
-
I spent about two months playing Destiny and it was pretty fun, but I'm basically sick of it by now. Replayed GTA V on the PS4 and it was good, but not really different from the PS3 version.
I'm about to start Shadow of Mordor after I picked it up from PSN for 30 bucks on Cyber Monday. I've heard a lot of good things about it.
-
Oh my god fuck shadow of mordor in it ass. Never more have I had so much fun in a game then three minutes later I'm cursing and throwing my controller across the room. Fuck.
-
Explain; why did it tank after a few minutes?
-
I've never played it or even watched it played but I'm guessing simply impossibly hard situations.
-
It didn't tank, I'm still playing it and I'll probably still have fun with it, but goddamn.
The Combat is like the batman games, but you can't fight 20 guys at once unless you wanna get raped with uruk steel. It has this amazing system where you have all the uruk captains/warchiefs, but they're darkened with no names until you go around and gather intel on them to find their strengths and weaknesses so you can fight them without getting curbstomped, but most of the time there are fifty or more grunts around to make sure they suddenly run up to join the fray when you try to attack one, making it impossible to fight him, even weakened. Also, when one of these guys kills you, since you're half wraith you don't really die, just some time passes until you reconstitute at a forge tower. This would'nt be notable except that when one of these assholes kills you, they gain a power level. If a grunt kills you, he gets a name and raises power levels. It is easy to get swarmed and die, meaning I have two guys right npow at Power level 20 that fuck me in the ass whenever they show up, which seems to be every time I get in a fight, anywhere, and I can't seem to take either one of them down because apparently they're in love with each other or something and are always in the same place together, so I have to fight both of them, any other named uruk in the area, and fifty grunts if I decide to fight them.
So basically I suck at this game and it's frustrating but still fun.
One fun thing happened yesterday, though. For one of the story missions I had to kill a warchief, which meant pickling on his scrubs first to piss him off and draw him out. I had to kill two beserkers ot get him out, so I stealth-killed the first by yanking his ass off a ledge, but his partner wouldn't come anywhere near the ledge, so I snuck up on the platform they were on and shit this thing that I thought was a beehive to distract him so I could sneak up behind him and kill the bastard. Turns out it was a Caragor (those ugly things that orcs ride in the movies) bait, and three of the nasty fuckers ran in and started attacking everyone. I watched those three caragors kill him, then proceed to slaughter the shit out of everything else there, including taking a few breaks to jump up trying to nip at me as I hung from the ledge, and I'd have to move around to hide. Finally, after they ran off to chew on some uruks in the distance, I was able to make it to the mission marker and draw out the Warchief, who ran straight at me as I dropped back down on the ledge to hang/hide, right at the moment the Caragors came back from their appetizers and ate the warchief as the main course. I pretty much accomplished the entire mission by shooting one arrow at the bait, then hiding like a scared little bitch.
-
It sounds like Borderlands; you fight the main thugs, however, you find yourself dead because of the multiple "grunts" that attack you as well that you can barely see unless you look down and behind you .... Borderlands pissed me off to the point I didn't want to play anymore until I figured out how to maneuver around and see the grunts as well as the main thugs/brutes ....
-
The gameplay is nothing like it, but yeah, something liek that, but a lot less forgiving. The gamepley is a lot like batman or assassin's creed.
-
I've not played, but I've seen, both ...
The ambushes in Batman are damn-near impossible from what I saw ....
-
I tried to play Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham city, but I just couldn't get into them. I'm just not really into Batman that much, so I don't give a damn about engaging in 20 minute long fights as him.
The only AC Game I played was Black Flag, and holy god damn did I love that game. It was mostly for the sea combat though, I could have done without the assasination stuff, though it was kinda fun, too, but damn, the naval stuff made that game. They need to take that and make a whole other game from it.
-
I enjoyed Borderlands, once you get the hang of it. Not the best graphics but still fun.
-
Yeah, same here, Tru ...
-
Borderlands 2 was a lot of fun, and definitely had a better story. Also there was this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZqmQT89kqU (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZqmQT89kqU)
-
Are there missing posts here?
-
Not that I know of ...
Once I get through BL1 I'll probably hit BL2 ...
How much better is BL2 than the original BL1?
-
A lot. And the DLC is great, especially Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. It got an award, I think. I wouldn't bother with the DLC characters unless you just wanna. Gaige is the easy mode character for people that don't know how to play FPS games, and Krieg is fun, but hard to play, considering that at least half of his abilities involve him setting himself on fire to be able to use them.
BL2's story is MUCH better then the first game's, and the characters and complexity are more diverse. All of the playable characters from BL1 are NPC characters in BL2, with dialogue and everything, and they're a large part of the story. BL1 had the "2.5" game mode or whatever it was called, and this one had like, three or four levels of that, getting harder and harder each playthrough.
I've thought about getting the third BL game that's set between BL1 and BL2 but it looks kinda meh to me.
BL2 does have the best intro cinema/theme song ever, though.

-
Looks sweet. I'll have to check out 2.
My son refused to play BL because of the graphic style. His loss.
He had become a realism snob.
-
Once again, once I actually started playing it, I got over that ...
Ok, I'll get BL2 ... I've been debating it a little while now ...
-
I liked Call of juarez too, those quick draw parts were challenging. A better mouse might have helped.
I have Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood but haven't really played it yet.
-
Never heard of it ...
-
I've heard of it but never played it. I think it's supposed to be a lot like Red Dead Redemption which as an amazing fucking game. Me and the roomate called it Grand Theft Pony.
-
/me jots down Red Dead Redemption *
-
Yeah Dead Red Redemption uses the same engine as GTA. I haven't played it but read some reviews and it's supposed to awesome. It is very much like Call Of Juarez but with a little better physics.
Well, if you like the old west theme.
Both good.
-
Yeah, and the DLC for it is one of the few zombie mode DLCs fashionable at the time that I liked. Killing zombies with a musket filled with shot made from bits of other zombies, having to do missions for the boarded-up towns to get ammo and supplies, and the best part for me was tracking down, stalking, then breaking the four horses of the apocalypse. My roomate knew when I was riding War because I'd start humming Ghost Riders in the Sky.
-
Oh, I'm not into the Old West ....
-
Well, it's not the OLD old West, it's set in 1911. The theme is how Texas was still kinda in the old west at the time while the rest of the country was slowly industrializing, and how the main character was the same, a gunfighting cowboy who was quickly becoming a living anachronism.
-
Ahhh, I can work with that then ...
-
Speaking of the Four Horsemen.
This is off topic but very important.

-
Ok, now that I finally learned how to fight in Shadow of Mordor (and increased my levels a bit) I'm finally having a hell of a lot of fun with the game. I rode a Graug today, which seems to be like the LoTR version of a Rancor. There's still some controller-snappingly frustrating missions, but the edge is taken off now.
-
It's like in Skyrim; chorrus die with one shot of a shitty sword in levels 1-4; 5 on it's a real battle with them ...
-
God, I hated those armored fuckers. And there's one down in a Dwemer ruin that's exponentially tougher then the normal ones.
-
PSN is having a christmas sale and they listed Don't Starve with the Giant's whatever DLC for PS Vita for 8.99, and at the bottom of the page it said that you also ge thte PS4 version as well.
https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/games/don't-starve-giant-edition/cid=UP2107-PCSE00450_00-DONTSTARVE000000?emcid=em-ga-18047 (https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/games/don't-starve-giant-edition/cid=UP2107-PCSE00450_00-DONTSTARVE000000?emcid=em-ga-18047)
Bought it, went to my PS4 and it would only let me download the core game, not the DLC. I thought maybe I could harass them into giving me the DLC like the ad promised, and got this:
http://i.imgur.com/OPT871H.gif (http://i.imgur.com/OPT871H.gif)
I'm right, I think? Isn't that technically bait and switch?
-
Hahahahahaha
" We don't have system of escalation"
Thanks for nothing right?
B$S yep.
-
Yeah, WTF was that runaround?
Let us know what happens when you call them ...
God, I hated those armored fuckers. And there's one down in a Dwemer ruin that's exponentially tougher then the normal ones.
Yeah, I remember that fucker well ...
Thankfully, I had Onmund with me to help out ...
... and the fucking chorrus (flying fuckers that come with the expansion pack) ... FUCK!!!
-
Oh god yes I hated those almost as much.
-
Yeah ... Flying fucks almost as strong as the chorrus themselves ...
Fucking annoying ....
-
Had some Christmas money and there was a Holiday sale on PSN, so I grabbed Diablo III and Alien: Isolation on the cheap. Diablo III is a hell of a lot better then I thought it would be, even though it's apparently after a shit ton of patching to fix the stuff they fucked up at release. It's a lot like Torchlight, which I got really into for a couple weeks then suddenly got bored with.
Haven't played Alien: Isolation yet, but every single thing I've read or heard on it says it's awesomeness incarnate. The creators even went so far as to make sure that all of the equipment used in the game looks like something that would have been used on the set of the 1980s film.
-
If I buy an XBox that is "wired", can I use wireless controllers?
I have a wireless controller; I'm not sure how XBox works as far as that goes ...
-
Yeah, every Xbox/one and PS3/4 is set up to use wireless controllers from the start. Look on the controller and there'll be a tiny little button on the front, and on the front of the xbox there'll be another similar button turn both console and controller on, then hold down the button on both. The lights on the contoller and xbox will flash for a bit, then stop and only one light will be lit, and that means the controller is now synched to the xbox and will turn it on when you turn the controller on.
http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/accessories/connecting-game-controllers?icid=furl_setup (http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/accessories/connecting-game-controllers?icid=furl_setup)
-
Sweet; I just wanted to make sure that if I bought a "wired" one that it can do wireless as well ...
-
Okay, I've now beaten Diablo 3 with three different characters, and each one was still fun. THAT is the mark of a damn good game. but now it's getting kinda weird.
I'm playing a witch doctor now. I'm half naked, wearing a wooden scary voodoo mask, holding a ceremonial dagger in one hand and what looks like it can only be a dead chicken in the other. When I attack enemies, I cast a spell that makes ghoul hands come out of the ground and grab them, then my zombie dogs run in to attack while i throw jars that explode releasing spiders that jump around and kill them. Oh an if they get too close I steal part of their soul to boost my intelligence so all of that does more damage.
LOVE this shit.
-
Oh yeah, here's my pretty baby.
-
My kid has Wolfenstein: The New Order, I haven't even considered playing it yet. It requires a quad core processor but will run on a dual core if you disable hyperthreading.
Sucker needs 45 Gigabytes to install.
I probably won't even try with my old PC. Especially since if I shut the fucker off it's a real guessing game if it will ever come back to life.
-
I've had that for my PS4 for a long while now, but keep getting distracted by other games/stuff and haven't even put it in the console. Everyone says it's good though.
-
I got a Slimline Black XBox 360 (looks new) with a wireless controller and a 250GB HD for $99, shipped to me ...
I've also cracked the code algorithm and can add DLCs if I download them ...
Yep; I'm set!
-
Noice.
-
I thought so as well ...
Now I've installed the DLC for the games I had from the old machine ...
I'm a happy Thrashy!!!
-
You guys are snerffing shit that can't keep up.
No box can beat a well healed PC.
-
Yeah, if you wanna spend a thousand bucks or more on a gaming PC and sit in a nerdchair while plating. A console costs just a few hundred and I can sit in the comfort of my Easy Chair, and the games are usualy more stable on a console, so I don't have to spend a week finding patches and rolling back drivers to get shit to work.
And the games are getting just as cheap. I just tonight picked up Saint's Row 4: Re-elected edition on PSN. There's a flash sale with it for 30 bucks and I used the 10% off code they put up on the main website as an apology for the New Year's downtime to knock a few more bucks off of that.
-
>>Yeah, if you wanna spend a thousand bucks or more on a gaming PC and sit in a nerdchair while plating <<
True that is about what I calculated it would be, but it will last through the next tree generation of boxes. Cut a few corners you can get it down between 5 to 8c.
And I don't consider this a nerd chair Sir. Sure it has a memory pillow and a warn fuzzy blanky to make it comfortable. (it gets pretty cold in here)
But besides that it is a professional grade black office chair further decorated by someone being artistic. It has random paint splashes all over it, they aren't day glow, meaning they aren't activated by ultraviolet. But the pattern and distribution of color I thought was really well done. Cool as I might have once said. So I bought it.
And no, surprisingly the paint doesn't really come off.
But I do get your point about technology being more stable (and much cheaper) with less software to deal with. Focused only on what it is supposed to do and not try to be everything all the time.
I think for now it kind of balances out over time.
If you need a hot PC for work then making it a killer game machine from the start only makes sense. Claim the power is needed for work. When you look at all the advantages a full range PC has to offer over a console unit then think well I bought the console unit or two but I still need a PC. So why not just invest the amount spent on the console for upgrades?
-
Ok yeah, I can see that. Truth be told, I *have* thought about quitting smoking, then using the money I save after a few months to buy one of those Alienware laptops. But when PC guys bitch about picture quality it falls on deaf ears with me and my bad vision, adn that's usually the only reason to use a top-of-the-line PC over a console. Then again, my laptop is always right here on a wheel tray in front of me, so it might make sense if I got one with a 17" screen like this laptop.
-
If you can buy an Alienware Laptop after only a few months of savings on tobacco, sorry man, you are smoking way too much!
But then If I could save all the money I spend on cat food and litter I could do it too! LOL
-
>>my bad vision,<<
Hey, I just noticed this. I thought my vision was bad because I have to use reading glasses. I went and had my eyes checked recently and was given a prescription for new lenses. I haven't bought them yet. But I am sometimes amazed at how well I can actually see today. I can look down the aisles at someplace like Walmart and actually read the signs. I couldn't have done that a couple of years ago. I did get punched in the head really hard once in the past couple years. Made my left eye turn completely red. But a couple months later that year the drivers test was the easiest ever.
I do need reading glasses to look at small print but I've been finding I can see far somewhat better than before.
And that's what my first glasses were for, reading street signs and shit while driving and worked for over a year or so. They are of no value today.
-
I've worn glasses since I was nine. Severe Astigmatism/nearsioghtedness. My glasses are so strong that a little while back I freaked me niece out by taking my glasses off and on so she could see my eyes grow and shrink. Lately I'm getting sumptoms of farsightedness or something I guess, when I'm reading. When my vision's clear I can see stuff f few feet away just fine, and roadsigns are no problem, but when I try to read a book in print or on my kindle I have to hold it away from my face. Maybe I need bifocals. A few years back I askled my optometrist if I did and he asked me if I needed them. I told him that was his job not mine, and he asked me again if I thought I needed them before I finally said I didn't really want them but would wear them if I needed to, and he replied that I didn't then. That optometrist is frmo one of those shitty Lester Optical places and he is high as a fucking kite whenever I go in there. I'm looking for someplace else to go now.
-
I had Lasix, I have better than 20/20 vision, however, I still need reading glasses; it's unavoidable around 40ish ...
-
Yeah and in June I'll be 42.
-
... was still best investment ever
-
God I think I'm in love with this woman. She is hilarious.
https://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=84FXNlVjMZI (https://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=84FXNlVjMZI)
-
That link just opens the YT homepage for me.
Say Johnnie, I just downloaded Fallout 3 and I know I have played New Vegas but I'm not sure if I've played 3, maybe, I'll try it again if I have. Should be way better on this rig than whatever I played it on last.
Oh but my question really was, are you looking forward to Fallout 4? Heard anything about it? Slated for sometime in June this year according to blurbs. Maybe, But I know nothing about it.
-
I had Lasix, I have better than 20/20 vision, however, I still need reading glasses; it's unavoidable around 40ish ...
You know I wanted to ask about that. I can see well at certain distances, I really don't even know what 20-20 means, I guess it's based on some perception of normal vision at 20 feet.
But what I wanted to ask about is focus? At some times I can focus my eyes to see stuff (mainly text) that is otherwise to blurry to recognize. But by shifting my position to even only a few inches closer makes it much easier to read. The problem with getting older is in otherwise healthy persons not a lack of being able to see something at a given distance but in the elasticity allowing your eyes to actually focus on objects at varying distances.
So the Lasix helped with your normal vision much as glasses would but did it help at all with the focusing aspect.
That's the thing that's getting me, I can see perfectly well but things far away and things really close are now lost to me without optical aids. And even then I have to switch back and forth between the two extreme.
Because focusing has been reduced to a smaller amount when compared to being younger.
-
You just reminded me of Fallout 4. I heard a little about it, but last I heard it was rumored to have been coming out around Jub=ne but it'd been pushed back a few months. Maybe they pushed it back this way again, I'll look it up.
A year or two ago I had a really good idea for a Fallout 4 game set in Houston. I forget where this one's set.
I've been faaling do bad since this last hospital trip that I haven't been playing many games, since I've only been able to sit up straight for around 20-30 minutes before having to go lie back down for a few hours. Been doing a lot better lately though so I'll probably start back into my gamiing addiction soon. Still have a ton of games to get through in the backlog. I'll probably start by finally getting around to playing Alien: Isolation.
-
I haven't invested time in games for the past couple years, but with my new monitor (27" BenQ) I thought I might get back into it.
Hope you get to feeling better. I know I can't do half of what I could just 5 years ago. Been working on the cargo box for my new little trailer and I can only drill a few holes or make a couple of cuts and I have to go sit down for a while to catch my breath.
It's a fucking conspiracy I tell ya.
-

The problem with getting older is in otherwise healthy persons not a lack of being able to see something at a given distance but in the elasticity allowing your eyes to actually focus on objects at varying distances.
So the Lasix helped with your normal vision much as glasses would but did it help at all with the focusing aspect.
That's the thing that's getting me, I can see perfectly well but things far away and things really close are now lost to me without optical aids. And even then I have to switch back and forth between the two extreme.
Because focusing has been reduced to a smaller amount when compared to being younger.
I'm not sure how to answer that one ...
I was nearsighted for 30 years ... Now, I have perfect vision ...
I really do need reading glasses for most things now ...
But, then again, I'm over 40; it's expected ... I didn't need them at first ...

Hah. I've been too far gone for that for almost a decade now. Out of shape, back problems, and when I had that lung infection episode back in 2009, I think it was? After that I was too out of breath to walk around for too long much less do any kind of labor. Been much better the last couple of days though, I can sit up for most of the day now all of a sudden. <ok this has turned into an entire off-topic subject rant that ima move to the food thoughts thread.>

I've been replaying Fallout 3 for a couple of days now and I immediately realized I actually played this one through to the end. The one thing I disliked about it was the greenish sepia tone given to all textures so this time around I have spent the past two full days just modding the fuck out of it with every thing I can find.
It looks 100% better now and I have more quests. But I have to be careful because some mods break the game.
I already had to reinstall it once.
I have the drivable motorcycle, the motor home and verticopter but haven't tried them yet, as well as the excellent nude/semi nude textures for the gals. These are really impressive for an older game.
