Reminds me of Bob Saget's "Saget's maggots".
Yeah right. Can't remember the show or episode that was from though.

Hey Thrash, can you tell me why a lot of the studio monitors face directly at the performers? Is this so they can hear their own part over the production?

Yes ...
We can't hear what the mix is when it's directly behind us ... It makes it a "surround sound" so we can hear not only all the parts, but how it's mixed ...
(Otherwise you get a bassist speaker on one side, a lead guitar on another, drums elsewhere ... It ties it all together for you) ...

Thanks, I kinda thought that was the case.
I've gotten a lot of comments over the years about looking like ZZ Top and I missed a chance recently when a black guy in the check out line at the dollar tree said hey music man, but I was distracted and didn't realize he was talking at me. I say I missed a chance because I can do the intro to Tush at the drop of a hat.

This one isn't censored but I like it.
The backup girls as a group are outstanding but for some reason-
-I really like the one second from the left er right. (yeah my other left lol)
Guess it depend on if you are watching the video from the front or imagining it from their behinds.
Can't say why because they all look pretty much alike but just saying.
