CCP has announced a new game that takes place within and meshes with their MMO EVE Online. This new game is for consoles and is titled DUST 514. Basically, it's an FPS with some RTS bits built in and you play within the E-O universe. The game can sync with Trinity server, where E-O is played. It sound pretty good! And if the subscription fee is less than 15 bux a month, it may be worth looking into. However, I don't want to pay for xbox gold. Here's some links.

The sad thing about this is it's not what most people, including me, was hoping for, that being White Wolf's (partnered with CCP) Wold of Darkness MMO. BUT! soon we may see that if DUST 514 takes hold in people's wallets.

$15 isn't that much, but if they are lower than that, then that'd be awesome. They're getting those details out of the way early, no prices set.

WoW turned me off of Blizzard's games. Something about their new RTSs strike me as being... too happy clown kitten looking, just like WoW. I don't want happy looking barbarians or zerg. I want barbarians covered in the blood of their enemies and zerglings exploding through people while Hydralisks render marine armor useless with high pressure acid that melts metal, flesh and bone equally well! Their artists are failing since making WoW.

I finally got to finish Fallout 3 after a long break and finally receiving a much newer PC to play it on and am currently in the middle of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky.

I don't do online games personally but Quake Live seems pretty popular around here. Next I move on to Far Cry II and Cryostasis.

I have a little catching up to do.
