seriously, I had to cut back on drinking because it was preventing me from getting stuff done. I've decided to write a business plan every two weeks for the next 3 months because being in an office for the benefit of someone else isn't all it's cracked up to be kids

I hate working for the man.  I'm like a caged tigress pawing at the walls and pacing back and forth.  If I were to own a business it would be a hair salon/bar called "Curl Up and Dye."

Hey you know what Kate, you bitched out fyr for putting words in your mouth, which she actually never did anyway. But here's the thing, back on A-S when I got roped into trying to act as a go between for you and Joe I made the mistake of telling you in an email that I thought you were pretty cool.

You went off on me and cut me to the core online claiming I was fucking hitting on you! You even told me to never call you Katie again because only your FRIENDS were allowed to do that. Now I understand you were probably having a rough time and all and I have tried to forget it.

I am somewhat flattered that you seem to now consider me just one of the guys since it takes a bit of doing to add a persons name to a quote like that and ordinarily I wouldn't mind people here putting words in my mouth as such.

But I don't think YOU have yet earned the privilege and I feel there is no way I can ever be open like that with you ever again.

Thanks

btw, I have been masturbating myself silly and your post was kind of amusing but that is beside the point.

~Tru~

the time period in which you are referencing me was one of my penultimate youth, and therefore cannot be used as fodder for references to my current personality here on the boards. i was a 19 year old girl at one point, so sue me! i fucking dare you. i am now 27, and will consider anything i say from now on forward a truthful representation of myself, but nothing beforehand.

p.s. when the fuck did you come into this conversation (via me), anyway?

No shit?

But you see the board only quotes the actual poster. AUTOMAGICALLY!
To change the name on a quote and make it appear to be someone else's, now that requires personal intervention.

Don't worry about it Kate, sounds like you had an interesting evening.

don't worry. it's very possible i'm losing my mind. packing for this move is driving me absolutely mad. i have an atrocious amount of unnecessary stuff. so much so, that i refuse to let any friends help me because it's so bad that i'm actually embarrassed.

i brought a huge bag of about 20 bags (purses, wallets, etcetera) in to work to let the girls fight over them. i have a 15 gallon plastic bin stuffed full of all the bags i just can't get rid of. tonight i start weeding through my shoes. i'm concerned tonight's the night to push me over the edge. it turns out i have well over 100 pairs of shoes. it's fucking disgusting.

3 years ago, just before I had my apartment renovated, I went through and got rid of a whole bunch of useless junk. I think the final count was something like 25 garbage bags of crap we got rid of. Threw most of it away and let the construction crew who were doing the flat up have at whatever they wanted. Bear in mind that I live in a one bedroom, one bathroom, combination living room and kitchen apartment.

And my place is STILL full of crap.

many of my friends and co-workers have been waiting nearly a decade for this purge. i've always promised them first look. a riot might ensue if i were to deny them. i have that much awesome stuff. (read: i have always had that big a shopping problem.)

after they go through each grouping of items, i plan on bringing them to the local thrift shops because they'll give me great value (in their receipts) on anything i give. unfortunately the salvation army/goodwill/breast cancer donation group/et al won't really define my items by quality, or original price, only by price-per-style-of-item (as in: $2/shirt, $2/pant, etcetera). the thrift shops are willing to analyze quality and material (e.g.: silk vs. synthetic) and quote me a tax related receipt based on value rather than purely quantity. i dig that, especially knowing i've always payed premium on clothing items and many of these items have seldom been worn.

I have exceptional taste in clothes.  My friends always end up taking my things before I have time to accumulate them so I don't ever have too many.  I also do things like sew so that I can turn something old into something new.  Hip-  I will take all of those shoes off of your hands. Speaking of shoes... my mom actually bitched at me today about how I don't own a pair of tennis shoes.  She thinks I need sensible shoes for Japan.  Who says high heels and cowboy boots aren't sensible!!?!
