What happened to the JM sounding singer?

Don't get me wrong ~ they kick some serious ass, AND take names.

Any suggestions for music along these lines?  Trying to search this shit up just doesn't suit, you know?

Yeah, but that's the beauty of it!  I don't think he's "trying" to sound like JM ~ he just sort of DOES.

That dude I found that did Pancho & Lefty?  In his freakin' BEDROOM?!?  I tried to suggest some other tunes that his voice/style was suited to, and I won't be surprised to hear about him being compared to Dylan one day.

Anyway ...

If you have a voice that suits a certain type of music, shouldn't you use it that way to be the best you can be?
