Ya know I have invented two different versions of ground effect craft but haven't built one yet. The first one uses a motorcycle engine with four squirrel cage blowers to create a directable cushion effect and would only "fly" close to the ground.

The second uses three tail rotor units from helicopters and could theoretically achieve a fair amount of altitude.
