You need to learn how to sleep with your eyes open. Makes powernap's much, much easier to take at siesta time.

I usually take a nap at work, just before I go home.
Otherwise, I'm drowsy in the car.

yeah. it's usually like 7pm, too, when i'm leaving, so the offices are shut down.
imagine taking a nap in the cab before leaving a work site. it might be the same.

I got caught sleeping in the copy room last week, but it was between events so I was OK! Then i woke up, ate my free dinner, pressed play and stop 15 times on my ipod and went home.
It was a good day

Oh I've gotten drowsy on the ride home and pulled off the capital beltway for a nap. But I wouldn't do it in like, the basement of a condemned house...

I used to sleep sitting up at my desk with my hand on the mouse and the computer screen on a middle menu, worked perfectly.

i used to take the best power naps in a.p. history class my junior year in high school. i generally waited until after the classtime assignment was handed out when we first arrived, and i tried to wake up before the final-ten-minutes recount of the pages read. sometimes i didn't wake up in time and the next day was called upon to discuss the dreams i had indulged in while everyone else was question-answering.
i love that teacher still for appreciating the rest it requires to look so damn good.

When I worked shift, I used to disappear for hours to have a kip on nightshift... the employer set up a room full of beanbags and I'd take a couple of bags to a different part of the building so no one could find me.
It was awesome.

I don't/can't really nap. Only a handful of times have I been able to sleep for a half hour or hour and then get up and not feel worse than I did before. More often I've intended to nap but ended up sleeping for hours. I don't wake up very well.
The only times a nap has been helpful have been when I was operating on only a few hours of sleep and severely hungover. The pounding headache and jangled nerves are definitely eased a little by a nap.

I caught some zzzz's on Christines cat piss couch one time... it was awesome.

I nap on the weekends. It is how I can stay up later and still get up at the same time.
Oh yeah and I'm lazy.

I slept from 6 am to 6 pm today.

I slept from 12am last night until 2pm today. Mostly catch up because I had gotten about 20 hours of sleep total in the entire week.
When I got up this afternoon I turned on my computer and I had been in a chatroom on Skype with Nick, Fyrenza, and Dylan at 4am and I have no idea how Skype auto-joins chats.

I cleaned out my skype contact list a while ago.
Just kept the people who come on regularly and people I want to come on regularly.
