So I went to my block today, stopped in Warragul, big breakfast. Danni paid.
Dug a shallow pit, and burned a bunch of dead trees. If I'd been armed, I could have shot me a roo, and thrown it on the pit and had me a traditional Aboriginal BBQ. But, I'm not into killing roo's. Sat on the beach for half an hour when we'd finished, just chilling to the waves crashing on 90 Mile Beach. We were the only people there. It's June, and it was dark, so it weren't beach weather for the rest of humanity.
Then on the way home, I got a text message from my friend Raoul. I talked to him for over an hour on Skype. Looking forward to seeing him and his other half Bianca in July, they be making the big trek to Oz from Germany.
Then I found out that my team won today.
And now I'm gonna get me some.
Yup, it's been a good day. Nobody got shot in da 'hood.

I really am glad that you had a good day, but this could have gone into current thoughts as it is a yawn inducing run-of-the-mill statement that fits in with the rest of the posts in the CT thread.

I like Gippsland. Nice and rugged. Fucking flies everywhere though.

Sure, I counted about 20 down there yesterday, just in Golden Beach alone. I counted about 20 carcasses of roo's and wombats on the way down there. Took it easy driving home last night. Dont want to smash up the Moshmobile by adding to the total. I could probably find an abo to be your side kick or something.
Nick, the flys were in hibernation. No mozzies either. Next time, we'll go up the high country or out on the lakes or something.
