6 years ago when they were first discussing creating .xxx top-level domains, my Scientologist buddy and I took it upon ourselves to just rattle off a list of about 100 or 150 domain names we would try to get, and re-sell for what we thought we would be huge gobs of money to porn companies wanting the domains.

Fast forward 6 years.

I have been keeping track of the progression of the .xxx domain until about a month ago, when I used snapnames.com to try and get 35 .xxx domain names. These were all generic names, no porn stars or companies involved in my names because I don't want to have to deal with trademark issues.

Alas, early this week I got 6 e-mails from snapnames saying I had fucking won 6 out of the 35 domains I tried to snag. I was surprised, because I know the demand for these top-level domains is through the roof. So I am now sitting on these domains for a bit, and reading all sorts of domain selling/buying message boards to track the opinions on .xxx domains.

Alright, alright I know you want to know what I own. I own sleazy.xxx, casualencounter.xxx, casualencounters.xxx, cockmilk.xxx, teenfacials.xxx, and wetpussies.xxx. $90/pop. At the very least, sleazy.xxx should go for a nice amount when I do decide to sell. I spent about an hour and a half earlier today checking out other domains at www.buy.xxx to see what was still available and nearly everything is gone.

Shockingly though, anti-social.xxx and antisocial.xxx are available as of me writing this. Haha, Dave, buy one! The one without the hyphen would be better in my opinion.

Also surprisingly, I found two more domains that are pretty damn amazing and apparently still available and I am going to try to snag at least one of those. If I get it, I'll let you know what it is.

I've always that that all porn sites should be mandated to ".cum" ...
... but what do I know?
