Sig Sauer (Made in Germany) 9mm In my hand tonight. Navy seal tested an approved. Current official side arm of US Navy Seals.
There are three levers on the left side and except for the mag release and decocking lever there are two other levers, The slide lock and takedown lever.
The decocking lever it a nice touch, takes the place of a safety. There is no safety! But decocked the hammer and firing pin are disconnected, so it is considered drop safe in this mode. A full trigger pull will still fire the weapon at any time but until the trigger is pulled or the hammer is cocked, even when a round is chambered a drop can not set it off.
It's a nice weapon, Sig Sauer P226 9mil single/double action in a 1911 format. It comes apart easy for cleaning.
This one has a 15 round mag, not legal in Ca except for police. Gotta set that one aside and get a replacement.
