I'm losing hair on my vortex.  Different people handle this different ways.  Most people accept their hairless fate.  Not me, fuck that. I'm the prime candidate to use Minoxidil, and today was my first application.  I'll tell you guys if it works on me.

I thought Alopecia was like when you couldn't grow hair anywhere on your body?

I've been losing my hair since I was 18.  Like Zoomie said you are definitely late to the party.

I get my haircut at this place called Ebony Barbers in PG now, they take it down to the bone basically once every few months and it looks pretty good.

You could be like my uncle and just wear hats everywhere for the rest of your life.

I've had the same "thin spot" on the back of my head since I was a teen, however, I essentially have a full head of hair at 36 ...

Guys only have one physical asset to worry about, their hair.

Guys only have one physical asset to worry about, how much money is in their bank account.

Fixed for reality.

I buzz my head with the clippers every week and I look fine. I still like wearing the occasional hat, though it has nothing to do with hiding my lack of hair.

Over the winter, as a goof I grew out a wicked combover. I'm talking Dixie politician quality.

The girlfriend was not amused.

I think bald or balding guys are pretty damn sexy.... but then again I do have a Patrick Stewart fetish.

Re: Androgenic alopecia Reply #24 on: July 20, 2009, 05:23:22 PM
I'm getting quite a few grey hairs, but nobody on either side of my family is bald or balding. I doubt I will either.
ever tried. ever failed. no matter. try again. fail again. fail better.

I'm trying to find a pic of the actual combover, but all I have found so far is beginning stages.

My great grandfather, I think, made a hair oil remedy to cure baldness/thinning of hair.

We have a bottle of the stuff; twas given to my dad by a relative when we were in India.
