the bar I went to was quiet as, maybe because of the recession and it's a Tuesday. It's also near my office and fairly conservative. This weekend however will be a riot with a few parties on around the place. It's not everywhere though, you have to go to the parties.

Anyway, booze at the Irish pub was all 50% off, good times.

He took the Romanized name Patricius so it would sound more christian but was never actually called Patrick during his lifetime and Patrick isn't even really an Irish name at all.
Like all the other christian holidays, we have been sold an advertising facade of this story.

Many old school Irish hate St Patrick because he fucked up a perfectly well functioning pagan Irish society with his christian crap.

Or so I've heard.
