The only real problem with that picture is that the shoes everyone is wearing are waaaay too pointy. I hate when women wear these needle-like shoes.

I agree! Even if you were joking, I dislike them, course I've never worn any myself, and I'm not crazy about shoes wth that big a heel anyway.

Toes ought not to be pointed on anyone's shoes, as far as I'm concerned.

I think this is where the idea of high heels came from.

The date of origin for heels is damm close to around the time westerners (modern and open (rabid) to new fashion) would of first seen foot binding. As of now I have yet to read anybody else EVER suggesting what I am here. (btw, Heels began around the 1500s)
