Then they asked for two professional letters of recommendation.  I got one of my professors to do that and then I asked my friend Dave to do one.  But he's a dumbass.  So I hope he gets it done.
I dunno, yo. He's a cool guy and all but is he really who you want to give you a recommendation? I mean he talks about anal sex a whole lot and never leaves Jacksonville.

The only question is when the fact of the decline of American dominance will start to factor into our decision making.

We should be using the decline to rebuild our failing domestic programs - health care, infrastructure, etc. while trying to better relationships across the board in foreign policy.  The US is wasting tons of resources on efforts that do absolutely nothing to position ourselves better for a decline in influence/wealth/etc.

The elites in the US should recognize that the rising & expanding powers in India, Brazil, China, etc. are not going to bring them along for the ride after years of getting fucked over.  So if they're smart, they'll recognize that their fate is tied to the fate of this country.

Just a curiosity... You think that not joining with Mexico when they had a chance is bad ? or joining with anybody else would of been a bad idea and they should of always thought within the borders.

I think that something like a proper North American union would probably have been a good idea, instead of the free trade agreement that they put together to gut wealth from everyone.

I've been hearing for 5 years (at my last job) about how BRIC countries were going to be where we get more money.  As it turns out, they're investing in local business, not foreign (what we would consider local).  It's been a big punch in the nuts for a lot of US companies, from what I understand.
Like yours.  Only different.

I was just surprised to see them admit what they did.  It may be obvious, but government reports often are optimistic to the point of absurdity.
