Pilsner Urquell and Hoegaarden. I should also get some Yuengling, Im sure.

What would you serve? It's gonna be 84, there's Burgers.

Don't get butthurt, krsna. I didn't ask you to join only cause I made this one kid free cause of the fire pit (don't want any hurt babies). I'm throwing plenty of kid friendly ones this summer.

No problem, I probably couldn't have made it anyway.

Personally, if I were buying beer for 84 people those assholes would be drinking a keg of Miller Light or Coor's Light.

For a dozen people I'd get like three cases of Lager.

Hosting for like six or eight would get Franziskaner, Hoegaarden, or Corona.

we are at maybe 10 - 12 people. At least two or three of whom will not drink beer. Franziskaner is a GREAT beer, but the raisin taste always reminds me of the Fall.

And the 84 referred to the temp. Sorry, i should have put "84 F".

Hmm, I've never noticed a raisin taste in Franziskanner.

Depending on how heavily your friends drink you might want to go either all Lager or do half Lager half import.

If you're estimating six beers for nine people you're looking at two cases plus a six pack. Two cases of Lager and a case of Corona would be a nice summertime mix. I think Corona is on special at a lot of places right now.

If your friends would fully appreciate Hoegaarden then it's a wonderful beer to provide. If not, fuck em. Keep it for yourself.

I drink Fraoch all summer.

Many would appreciate the hoegaarden, but I will keep lager on hand.

I dunno why i detect raisins in Franz. Oh well. As a side note, that was the city beer of Lepzig and when you asked for a beer they would ask "Dunkel oder Hell?" (Dark or Light).
Have you had the dark?

Detroit had Franz tonight at dinner

I thought you hated Pilsner Urquell.

Anyways, were it me, I'd have poisoned them all with VB. But I guess VB isnt readily available there.

No no, I love PU! I cleared a whole vending machine while in Prague of PU and drank it along with absinthe. Oh man, those were the days (before being told I had to stop drinking)

Don't put my cat in the fridge when you come here in October, cool?
Unless she dies before then and we decide to keep her to serve with a nice brandy pepper sauce
