I went all emo fag and broke up with the internet for like 6 months to a year once.  In retrospect, it was pretty dumb.  It's not like I did anything more productive with the time I spent on message boards or reading random stuff elsewhere (hello crackpot Christians who think everything is a sign that they might be raptured any minute!).  I post at work when I'm running computer models and can't really do anything else anyway; I post at home when I'm killing time between doing various things (or while I'm doing things, like tonight cleaning my room and taking breaks at the computer when I'm tired of it).
