thank you chem. i'll go with your answer. i have a veeery addictive personality, and as soon as i came down i wanted moreee. and the next day i was looking for more, but now i feel pretty well being off of it. i mean i want it, duh. i always want to get high, but no so much as a withdrawal-urge like yesterday.
im getting my wisdom teeth cut out soon, and they're going to hook me up w/ a script of them, that kind of scares me.

A)  They don't work the same when used for pain, as when used for recreational purposes ~ there shouldn't be much of a "high," unless you over-do 'em.

The greater amount of their potency will be channeled toward deadening the pain you're feeling.  (That's why cancer patients are allowed to Self-Medicate with morphine ~ they build up a tolerance, as well a lowered pain threshold.  It's a very "dignified" way to die, i'm told.  Just keep killing the pain, until the pain killer, kills YOU.)

I'm hijacking this thread to talk about weird effects that drugs have on you in general (instead of only related to percocet)

Psychedelics do something weird to me: they trigger hypophonic dysarthria. The first time I discovered this was the first time I tried morning glories. I was out with friends and I kept asking questions which they seemed to completely ignore. I was pretty annoyed. A few days later one of the friends I was out with was talking about that night and made the comment that I'd been extremely quiet that day and had hardly said a word. I brought up the fact that I'd been trying to have a conversation but nobody would answer a single question I posed and so the conversation died over and over again. Apparently he hadn't heard a word of what I'd said even though the bar we'd started in had been a pretty quiet place. This has come up several times since then. It's really weird. The last time it happened I was only smoking weed.

Yep. 

Most opioids/opiates give me HORRIFIC sleep paralysis when I attempt to sleep on them.  Some much worse than others.... for example, methadone is particularly sleep paralysis inducing when compared, while oxycodone is not nearly as bad.  Sleep paralysis or not, I can rarely truly sleep on any painkiller.  It's an extremely light and disturbed sleep.  I'm more stimulated than truly somnolent.

Also from being sleep deprived for at least a few days and unable to sleep due to one or more different substances in my system, I tend to develop random tics that can be very strong.  It's quite strange.  And to make clear, when I say tics, I do not mean fasiculations (twitches) or spasms.  I forgot who, but I had a conversation recently with someone who didn't realize the difference between the three and I wasn't sure if knowing the difference was common knowledge or not.

Shrooms, LSD, cannabis, and DXM (to name the ones I can think of) all give me different levels "vibratey hands" (I've discussed this in another thread) because it feels as if my hands have been holding something vibrating for a long period of time.  Sometimes the feeling can emanate throughout my body but it's mostly noticed in the hands.
