The Craft was my first date with the first girl I ever had sex with. She was 16, I was 14, and she was kinda into the occult and stuff. Her parents were total hippies, and loved that my dad was sort of an old school hippie pioneer in the area, and that he and I were foreign. I did a great job of not giving a flying fuck that this was all complete melodramatic bullshit because HOLY SHIT THIS HOT FUCKING 16 YEAR OLD WANTS ME! DON'T FUCK THIS UP YOU PRICK! So we saw The Craft (in Spanish, of which I spoke even less than Catalan at the time) and she translated the major plot points for me and afterwards I pulled my I've-got-connections card and took her for a free crepe and ice cream at this place run by an English dude and Catalan spouse that my dad knew, near the cinema.
Within a week, I'd been laid for the first time. It was awesome.
