The next-door neighbours are a whole bunch of Guyanese people who like(d) to keep chickens in the yard. We have a really high fence, but somehow the occasional chicken (young ones who I guess were better at flying?) would get over the fence. We have five dogs. It never ended well for the chicken.

And as it happens, I haven't seen any chickens around in ages.

Just not good at doing it on skin, manipulating the henna ink is hard for me. Its like using water colors, all I end up doing it make it run or smear.

When I lived in tha hood, there was this family behind my house that had chickens.  Around 5 am every night the rooster would start to crow and crow and crow, it was so annoying.  I hate chickens.

I guess they never had any roosters, cuz we never heard them. A block over from us, in Cedar Grove, you can't go anywhere without hearing roosters almost any time of the day or night.

Current Thought: A bird crashed into my window today, fell down, landed in my flower pots and died. Cause of death? Broken neck.

That happened the other day to me!  I woke up to the sound of something smashing into my window.  It was a bird repeatedly trying to get into my room through the window.  The weird thing was that there was another bird sitting near it chirping at it really loud, like it was asking it what the fuck it was doing.  Birds are weird.

It'd been weirder if you had a parrot and it was translating ...

They aren't trying to get into your room. They are in their mating season (hence the female close by chirping) and they think their own reflection is another male and they're trying to drive him off.

Didn't anyone else here take 4 years of zoology???

CT: My cell phone fucking sucks.... and so does this slow ass charger.
