My friend shared a place with his mate to help him out, said mate ditched after 6 months leaving him with a huge bill. Same friend is now going to move in with his GF of 6 weeks to an even more expensive place. He got pissed when I pointed out that he's an idiot

You don't want a boat to rock, put Ian it in. That's stability man.

My best friend Dave had moved in with this girl he dated for TWO WEEKS!  I told him he was an idiot and put a wager on it lasting two months.  He called me yesterday right on the two month mark saying that it was over and she was moving out.

While I normally agree that moving fast is a terrible thing, sometimes it does work out.

But its so so rare.

attn brook: we never discussed rant after i finally finished it. might be my favorite...

really? i thought the ending was more or less retarded. though i did thoroughly enjoy the story and getting to the end, and the characters themselves. the ending was just a little too out there for me. i guess i think that's my problem with some of Chuck's books. i love him but the endings of his books are sometimes a let down for me.

also, Snuff isn't that great. it seems like he wrote it quickly to make a fast buck. not that great at all.

i haven't read Pygmy yet but will buy it soon.

i think the far out ending in rant made me appreciate how much effort he put into the tons of friends' accounts throughout the book, of which i was initially pretty skeptical that thy would all come together like the puzzle pieces they turned out to be.

i had the same exact reaction to snuff. big letdown.

just finished pygmy. it was tough to get into at first, as it's written in jumbled broken english, so i reread diary in a day to pumpstart my desire to read it. i think the day i finished it was when i enjoyed it the most, as it goes for the way i react to most of his books. thinking about the whys and the why nots...

reading is for winners! next up: fugitives and refugees.

Amy moved in with me November 1st, 2005. We met in person for the first time on October 7th, 2005.

But yes, it's definitely pretty rare.

i think that moving in together (in a romantic fashion) due to financial circumstance is, more often than not, the kiss of death for a relationship.

You both had places, furnished etc and your sig other moved in. You didn't sit down and plan a move to a bigger place than you live in currently, taking on extra financial risk in the process.

CT: "The Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options" - released by the Options Clearing Corporation way back in 1994 -  is a lot easier to digest than the tax laws ascertaining whether I'm allowed to trade them online.

Fuck this for a headache, does anyone in the Americas want to be my shell entity?

When homeless people tell ask for money by first introducing the fact that they just got out of jail are they trying to evoke sympathy or fear? When the crazy guy at the laundromat tells you that he killed a little girl once, is it to scare you, impress you, or just to prove to himself that he's still capable of having an effect on the outside world? Why do the sirens come only about half the time following nighttime gunshots?

CT: I have to move out of this town.

The plant is about 6 ft tall, maybe a little more? Grew a handful of tomatoes, Im gonna harvest them this weekend and make a sauce with them (Diced tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, basil from my front garden). I suggest the TT for two people, but to be sure to water it twice a day and check for parasites ect.

The grapes gave quite a few bunches too.

Strawberries and Peppers died.

Basil, Oregano, Lavender kicked ass

Sage, as usual, died.

If this is all you sleep naturally, I don't see it being a problem. Some people simply do not need as much sleep as others.
It's truly a shame I am no longer there to yell at girls to make out with you.
