Why are my allergies flaring up being back in Austin, when for the past 2.5 days I was in the fucking semi-wilderness with bugs, pollen, sap, etc. and didn't sneeze once?

I think my recent insomnia has been related to allergies.

CT1 - My sleep-wake schedule is so fucked I often see dawn break. I hate seeing it even though it's pretty.
CT2 - Philadelphia area has GREAT sunsets. Maybe good sunsets are more common than I thought, but growing up with the pale-white skies of Vermont and coming of age under the slate-gray skies of Canada has left me feeling like a good sunset is something pretty fucking special.

I went from sleeping 4-5 hours a day down to 2 hours a day.

CT: Last night I went to get my hair cut at a new place b/c my regular stylist is out of town. After the consultation, shampoo, and haircut, the stylist blow dried my hair, which seemed to take 30 mins for what should take 5-10 mins, MAX. 20 mins into this I was annoyed because I hate it when hairstylists take forever to dry my hair. My hair is very straight so it doesn't matter if you blow dry it for 30 mins or don't blow dry it at all, either way it's going to look the same when it's dry. Anyways, 20 mins into this unnecessary blowout I said, "Sorry but I have to say something, it looks like you didn't cut my hair at all!" And then he said we aren't done yet. Then he blow drys my hair for another 10 mins, then proceeds to take another 10 mins to snip microscopic pieces of hair off from random places around my head. It was so stupid. Stupidest haircut I ever got. I should have known he was incompetent when he asked me, "Do you flatiron or blow dry your hair?" both before AND after shampooing me. Maybe he should lay off the weed. ARGH. bye bye $65 + tip.

My last hair cut cost me $0.  I used a pair of scissors and a free sample of one of those Gillette Sensor Titanium razors.

I don't remember what a haircut feels like.

Funny this should come up. I pulled out the Oster clippers I used to use when I groomed dogs and knocked mine down to 1/2 inch the other night. And I'm growing out my beard so it's all the same length.
