Kanji is fucking hard. And why are kanjis in names so weird and uncommon? I spent the entire last weekend transcribing kanji and it's depressing work. I had to cut myself off one night after spending literally 3 hours on 2 characters and stroke-count table after radical tree after Cangjie tool.

That is why I am thinking about going to Sul Ross to finish school.  It is is in the middle of the desert in west Texas.  Maybe I won't be distracted by men and booze out there, but I doubt it.  Those things seem to follow me where ever I go.

Do it... every time I move, it's generally to achieve a goal (job, travel), and by default I make friends with people with the same goal. When I move on, we still keep in touch but they have different goals or no goals so we run out of things to talk to. That doesn't mean ditch the people near and dear, rather that if you surround yourself with folk on the level you're trying to get to then it'll be a whole lot easier.

No worries. I've got most of the transcription done. It's made all the more brutal by the fact that I am trying to transcribe from a screenshot of a video of an ancient game. Of the 130-odd characters I'm only still confused over 5 of them and of these 5, 2 are the same mysterious character.

I turned down hanging out with my best friend and watching 2012, turned down going to another friend's for booze and UT vs Kansas, and that girl "G" who I met last year and we're still friends just texted telling me to get my skinny ass down to this coffee shop here Flipnotics, that has live music and other live plays and weird shows and crap sometimes; I respectfully declined.

Heading back over to my favorite lady's crib shortly. I'm bringing Sleepaway Camp to keep the Weird Weekend theme going on. Antichrist, Sleepaway Camp, maybe Natural Born Killers, which I have never seen. I think it'll be fun to have like themed-movie weekends every once in a while.

It has been a while since I have been this happy. Nov. has been the best month in a long time! Japan! Camping! Lots of sex! Gifts from Tiffany and Co. for my almost 10 year anniversary with the firm, THANKSGIVING, cool weather, blah blah.
