In my senior year of undergrad, I took a Men's Health Seminar, and we had one week's worth of discussion on circumcision. We watched videos, for like an hour, of the various ways that babies get circumcised. It's absolutely revolting. I'm glad my parents chose not to have me circumcised, and if I ever have a son I would choose the same.
Also, like Si mentioned, as long as you wash your dick like you wash everything else it's not like you are going to be cultivating any strange bacteria or anything. I can see the justification of it back in the day when hygiene habits were not nearly as good, but I don't really see the justification of it now other than social norms. For example, we say: circumcised (normal) and uncircumcised (abnormal), instead of natural penis (normal) vs. cut-up penis (abnormal).
