Five days off! Thank you Japan and your plethora of holidays.

I have 5 games of baseball to play and two nights booked in the mountains of Hakuba, Nagano prefecture. It's where they had the winter Olympics many years back but I'll settle for some onsen and hiking.

Because the flavor is extracted from certain plants, possibly an orange fruit (who knows). Artificial flavoring is synthesized in a lab.

Because I work here and I love the place. Once you pick up the language a little Japan is one of the easiest and most fun places I've ever been too, and the food is the best in the world.

I'm currently working on a hypothesis that tracks the love/hate relationship Japan has with height.

Example:
Used to love Robin Zander, lead singer of a mediocre band who is short enough to be mistaken for Japanese
Now love underclass who could be mistaken for Gojira strolling through Shinjuku.

I'll let you all know my results...

I'm coming to Japan. I asked my mom if Japan could be my graduation present and she said, "why not?", so I need to know all the details. I put my mind to hustling a trip to Japan out of mother and it worked!

13chem, you're welcome to come but we're not going cheap or backpacking. Cheapish but nice hotels, bullet-trains and a different meal out each day. From talking to Tricky and Lucas you'll need about $3K total including plane tickets.

You'll also need to seriously look at what drugs you're taking, look up the rights of an individual in the courts system here and let me know if you find any... I'm pretty sure you can get busted for testing positive for shit if you have a blood test for a flu or something, and if you go to jail here you're not coming back.
