and, really, do a little research on the subject. circumcision is painful, cruel, unnecessary, and risky. why do it? because it looks pretty? you will be seeing your kid's penis on a regular basis for what, five or six years maximum. he's going to be seeing it for his whole life and maybe he doesn't want to see a scar every time he pees, takes a shower, masturbates, or gets intimate with someone.

it's an individual choice that every man should make for himself. if he decides to get cut later on at least then they'll use some anesthesia.

GUYS: if possible, would you change the status of your foreskin or lack thereof? discuss why or why not.

I'm not cut.  I was ambivalent about it for most of my life, but after taking a college level health course my senior year as an elective and watching 2 hours of video of circumcisions being performed I'd not opt to do that to a son if I had one.

I've had sex with guys with and guys without.  It doesn't make a difference to me.  Also, if I had a son I wouldn't do that to him, it seems kind of messed up.

i mean, my grandpa (i hate that i know this) had to be circumcised to join the air force (ridiculous) and he said it was the single most painful thing that ever happened to him and he regretted ever having done it.

Looking back, I would have preferred to have a choice in the matter.  But even with everything I know, I probably would still prefer to have it removed.  Additionally, if I'm choosing to get a circumcision, I would rather it be done to me as a baby, rather than an adult.
