Speaking of impressive BBQs, should I try this Mongolian BBQ thing I've been hearing about when I'm in the States?

Again, your fucking missing the point. It's not your thread.

I'm leaving it at that, as I'll likely continue to talk in circles.  This is all in a PM now.

regardless of who missed that who was kidding - there is no good that could come from lucas's initial comment.

Whenever I think Si is being a whiney bitch, I send a picture of two kids crying and some text mocking his emo to him privately. then we play online checkers and move as is proper
Loaded-Gun.com - I don't know what the hell they are talking about or why they are even there. They don't make serious points and they don't joke, but they still manage to make a lot of posts somehow.

Mongolian BBQ is pretty disappointing.  It's basically all-you-can-eat stir fry.  Korean BBQ, on the other hand, is awesome.  I bet there are some good places in California.

When you visit the east coast, you should get Carolina BBQ.  It was by far my favorite style of BBQ, speaking of American style barbecues.

I thought is was a joke, this "drama" thing. Comming at the same time as the typing about some old IRC prank.

In the hope that any concerns about how it was perceived to a reg who is an "outsider" is somewhat diminished; I am just adding this so anybody who was invloved knows, that somebody who doesnt know shit about the social backscatter at this place, didnt think it was serious.

I fucking love sleeping on couches. Couches at night - hobo's delight.
Like Si said, air-mattresses always deflate under you during the night.
I read Eitje's complaints as:
"They wouldn't let me sleep between them in their bed, but at least they gave me a sweet couch rather then an air mattress or the floor. I played second fiddle to a cello and I'm surprisingly cool with that."

Anyway if you want a bed next time, Eitje, I'm 10 minutes from Philly and I've chosen my couch over my bed for general sleeping. Everyone's welcome at my place any time.

I have a bed and a couch and I choose the couch for slumbering most of the time.

I prefer couches to beds 100% of the time.  I preferred my old slumberjack cot to a real bed, or just a pad on the floor.  I'm also particularly partial to hammocks.

The only reason I bought a bed at all is that girls seem to be uniformly unimpressed with grown men who don't own beds.

Wasn't it Chris Rock who said the only reason guys have nice shit is because women like it? And then I think he said that if we could get away with fuckin in a cardboard box that's what we'd have for houses. He is a funny man.

Now if we are into airing dirty laundry, 13chemicals, I told eitje that I thought things were working out for you job wise and school wise. I expressed that I was happy that it worked out for you that way and you seem to be in a great place, from what I could read. Though I don't know for sure, as all I know is what is on this board. We talked for a brief moment on Austin music scene as I was reading a catalogue that had local austin rock bands modeling the clothes (anthropologie). I believe your involvement in the scene there was mentioned, though not thoroughly discussed. Now if eitje thinks this is a bad thing, then I'm quite confused. Unless you were joking, too, in which case neither I nor anyone else gathered that.

Okay okay, chill out... I think you're cool and Luke is a moron.

Also-  Those ribs look so good!  I had ribs at this restaurant named Korea House twice now and they are some of the best ribs I have ever had.  When Mosh comes into town we are taking him to Korea House.
