Hojo, you are such a silly little angry man.

If you put 2 and 2 together you could draw the conclusion that marijuana smoke may be harmful, but at least it's got some anti-cancer THC in there.

Additionally, a pot smoker is probably inhaling a lot less smoke over the course of the day, week, year, lifetime, than the average cigarette smoker (who smokes 30 cigarettes per day).

So, if you take the added benefit of THC and couple it with the reduced ammount of smoke consumed by marijuana smokers, smoking pot doesn't seem to be nearly as harmful as tobacco use. Of course, there's no way to prove this other than rigorous unbiased scientific study.

But if someone really wanted to clean up their lungs they could switch to from smoking to vaporizing, or eating it. In your case hojo, I would suggest going directly to the marijuana enemas, and maybe even some douching for good measure.

Argument? I wasn't arguing anything goofball, I was posting some links to stories that said pot smoke doesn't cause cancer, and THC appears to fight cancer.

Since I'm not a qualified medical professional I have no business arguing for or against marijuana smoke being bad for you. I'm am, however, happy that a complete lack of medical or academic scientific background hasn't prevented you from manufacturing the correct opinion.

Well then, I suggest you start a letter writing campaign to government agencies and research centers and inform them of this fact. Maybe they'll pay you for your revelation, you know? I mean, you'd be saving them a whole lot of time and money they're just throwing away on determining whether marijuana smoke is harmful or not.

I don't smoke marijuana myself but I have nothing against it.

My dad told me years ago, that when my mom was dying of cancer, smoking marijuana was the only thing that could counter the sickness from her chemotherapy and give her an appetite to eat at a normal level during her treatment.

So even if marijuana does cause cancer (which I'm not sure of either way), it most certainly helps people who currently have cancer during treatment and has other numerous medicinal values.

I dont need the background to know:  smoke = bad. It's common knowledge.

The government doesn't want people to live forever, only as long as they are useful and a net profit on tax.

Cigarettes are remarkably good at achieving this balance.  I'm surprised the government has been so hasty to levy extraordinary tax on tobacco relative to other vices.

Well, i believe we all agree that inhaling ANY foreign substance isn't exactly the best thing in the world to breathe,

but i think breathing smog on a regular basis is worse than smoking cigs.

What's sort of funny is how many NURSES smoke.

Evidently, medical science hasn't proven the correlation to us.

Country folks, either.  If you only KNEW how many little old geezers and geezerettes there are, who smoke at age 78  :o ,

with little to no incidence and/or evidence of lung cancer caused by cigs ~ or anything ELSE, for that matter.

Unfortunately, LIVING is hazardous to your health, and no matter HOW great of care you take with your "temple,"

it WILL wither and die.

I drove home from the bar last Saturday absolutely hammered.  It was only like a one mile trip so it's not a super big deal.

I've been petitioning this for quite some time, but I think I'm actually able to focus extraordinarily well when I am drunk.  I tend to get completely one tracked on whatever specific action I am doing/performing.  Be it driving, dancing, playing super mario brothers, eating pussy, it doesn't matter.  I can only do one thing, but I do that one thing like my life depends on it.  And I tend to block out every other things going on except that one thing I'm doing.

I think I remember the claim in driver's ed being >50% within 5 miles.

There's not much excuse for driving 1 mile drunk when 1 mile is easily walkable.  Or like a $5 cab ride.

<~ raises hand

Actually, i was rolling down drunk at a bar and got into a discussion about which was the better scotch ~

Johnny Walker Black or Glenlivet ~

and to settle the dispute, i drank a shot of Glenlivet.  (DELICIOUS, btw!)

BLAM!  i'm COMPLETELY sober.  i need to try it with other drinks, though, since i was drinking beer then.

and got on with it

driving only SEMI-drunk, unless on county roads, in the middle of the night, half-to-completely naked, ...   8)

Y'all need to move to Texas, where folks are EXPECTED to drive around with open containers, and the local cops,

(your mother's brother's cousin-in-law, HIS cousin, etc.)

wouldn't stop you if you held a beer up, guzzling it, while making a rolling stop turning onto the "main highway," so-called because it's PAVED,

on your way home from work of an evening.
