Seems like an awful lot of online businesses are getting harassed off the web...

Wonder if someone won't finally think to start another  web?...

UK file-sharers to be 'cut off' (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8219652.stm)

They're going cut the internet of anyone who is illegally file sharing now.

i'm sorry to those folks, but it's a New Day and Age, out here in the real world.

Are they planning to sue each person that plays music and allows others to listen to it, or happen to record it (video), at a party, like say, a WEDDING?

Are they planning on suing for recording stuff off the radio?

What about TV???  Didn't ANYONE learn ANYthing over the recorded movie crap?

What's to stop Aussie's from hooking in to the "other" internet, via satellite or international cell phone calling?

It's a good idea, but as an OPTION to the www, NOT a force-fed meal of censorship...

Pirate Bay still works for me but I use isoHunt almost exclusively. If it's not listed there then it probably doesn't exist.

I find that torrents appear on Mininova earlier than IsoHunt... but both are good.

I've been permanently banned from posting comments and from the forum at isoHunt.

Not because of anything I said in the comments, but because it was my idea to add comments to the downloads page in the first place and they didn't want to admit it. They even deleted the thread where I originally made the suggestion.

What a random thing to worry about getting credit for.

We should add a comments function to the threads here.

Yeah, I invented the internet but Al Gore stole my fucking thunder, man.

What a random thing to worry about getting credit for.

It's more a matter of a "Give Credit Where Credit Is DUE" thing ~ they should, imho, have given him a free lifetime subscription and Congratulated him on the Home Page.  That would have been "nice" of them, AND would have created loyal feelings, as well as promoting the exchange of ideas.

Some comanies just don't get it...  It's easier, and better in the long run, to be NICE than to be hateful.

edited for: Thanx, Sakhi!

LOL yep.

Well the situation originally was if you wanted data on a listed file you had to search their forums and the rules stated that you had to search for a topic already related to the file in question before starting a new thread to comment on it. I don't know why the don't want to give credit where due for the layout change but I was banned because I posted about a file being a hoax and the mods called me names and said I should follow the rules and find the thread that was already about that file. Well searching their forum was a hit and miss proposition at best since the threads were all named stupid shit by other posters.

It was almost impossible to find the correct thread for any discussion of the listed files.

So, I told them people don't want to have to wade through their fucking forums for answers and they could follow their rules but I had no need of them.
They implemented my suggestion but banned my username  and deleted the conversation.

I don't give a fuck. I thought it was childish of them and found it amusing. I only mentioned it here because its an interesting and true fact.
