You know, he's like one of the funniest guys around. Here he is fucking everybody up at a white house dinner during Clinton's Administration. He's got balls of steel.

I love Norm. He's the only guy I would accept as a replacement for Letterman.

That was not great. But if you've noticed, shortly after that dinner, he left SNL, did three shitty movies, had a failed TV show and faded into oblivion. Oblivion, of course, being Vegas backstreet comedy clubs with a $5 cover and a three drink minimum...

Giggling at your own jokes makes you less funny. Ralphie May would never do that.

Letterman was edgy once-upon-a-time.

I love Norm MacDonald.  I stopped watching SNL when he stopped doing the news.  I even liked the Norm Show.
