Title: Fade To Black vs In My Darkest Hour
Post by: Daddy on September 04, 2009, 10:01:53 PM
Putting these two songs into a lesser than, greater than context is my task at hand.

So which is superior to you?

Metallica - Fade to Black (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEQnzs8wl6E#normal)

Megadeth - In My Darkest Hour (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRxTXb3L_L0#normal)

My vote goes to Megadeth's track.

Matter of fact is a matter of relevance with proximity to the individual.

You want scantily clad women...

Okay... Let's throw in a little satanic air to it in a huge white warehouse. Suck it.

I bet they get a lot of street cred for shooting their videos in mall parking decks...

You know, just really getting down into the gritty world where their fans live and work.

Tough choice.  But as much as I hate to admit it, I have to go with Fade to Black.  It's one of the very few Metallica songs I can still listen to without becoming nauseous, and it was my favorite song of theirs back in the day.
