They should try to outlaw some more stuff, make existing laws more convoluted, and go for some more frame-ups.

After all, prisons are the lifeblood of a modern economy.  Ask California.

If the Netherlands has so few criminals that they're shutting prisons, I guess this weakens the "Marijuana is a gateway drug" philosophy.

Intially, I couldnt follow this.
I was told that crime is increasing in NL eg unemployed Surinamese.
I know the synthetic drugs market is fucked there, and that much of that sort of stuff is migrating to other places.
Its probably that they can export coke etc still, and make nice money without mugging old ladies.

 Holland is a strange place.Murderers go home for the weekend, and bring prostitutes in, in the week.
Its like they're treated as "victims"...

Britain is running out of prisons.

I suppose alot of crime is drug related.Holland profits from it by being a centre of it, and doesnt give a fuck about doing people for it.Britain has kids killing each other to have the distribution rights.
Export the gear, and u export the crime.

The Dutch had it sussed all along...

Hmm.Mexico has its own problems from what I saw.Which centre around its transit point status.

I think Mexico is gonna have problems because of the disparity in wealth, whatever its drug status is gonna be.
Holland seems to be pretty "even" society- so less prone to criime.Altho lots would say the immigration is unsettling it abit.
