I've sampled a fair number of drugs in my day so I'm not talking nonsense here:
I think it's a joke that Cannabis tops solvents for harmfulness.
I also think Ecstasy is way too low.
-
Agreed on both counts.
-
Surprising that solvents/inhalents aren't nearer the top. Nothin' says brain damage like huffing [insert favorite volatile here].

Hah. Sweet avatar.

Solvents dont have enough use (social cost, the fact it totaly fuks the communities it infects isnt enough) nor risk of dependency to bump them up any higher.
If the list was just harm based... we have a winner ! (well ok, not really but yeah, nm.)

Nothin' says brain damage like huffing MEK!.
Perhaps this is why I used to really enjoy watching them strip and repaint airplanes...

If fucking up the community isn't considered enough of a social cost, one wonders what the definition of "social" is in the UK. I think it's pretty clear that these British researchers don't live in the barrios because it is a major problem there. Perhaps "social" is understood broadly as the fabric of global village? I suppose these graphs are geographically limited.
Also I tend to use Cannabis as my measuring stick to determine if things are too high or too low, but maybe it's just Cannabis that is misplaced. It seems too high to me.
No pun intended.
I'm guessing it had to be something like a score of 2 for both physical harm (I guess as it relates to lung cancer) and social harm (Uhh... It makes you lazy I guess?).

Awww.....amphetamines only made 8th place? Psshhhh.
Suddenly, Nutt was everywhere - the papers, the BBC, YouTube, a Facebook page started by his backers.
Hehehehehe......

So where do prescription drugs fall on this list?
Or do they get a pass because technically you should only be able to get them for a medical concern as prescribed by a responsible doctor?
