Title: Boot fail.

Well it would be if the bios even started.


So um,  Comp will start maybe one in six (standby works/restart works/hibernate dont).  No errors on success boot. All dirver/bios current (known stable at least 6 month old versions).

I'm thinking hardware/peripheral/cable/wire/connection fault, disagree ?

If you're having troubles even getting to POST, it's either CMOS battery (highly unlikely, however, probable) or motherboard  ...

That's what I though. The MB that is, didnt even consider the cmos.
