Barak Obama does not collect intelligence, he does not search airline passengers and he does not arrest terrorists.
He is the elected president of the United States. He manned up and accepted responsibility for a series of errors and a cluster of dumbasses in his administration.
Bush would never have done that.
Clinton didn't do it.
Bush Sr didn't.
Reagan had fall guys lining up.
Carter... nah too easy.

I really think the number one deterrent to terrorism in the west is that it's easier to kill soldiers or intelligence agents in the field at this point.
Give people time to learn to build better bombs, make electronic triggers, etc... Full body scans won't protect anyone.
