...to revive this board, that is. are we all lacking in things to rant about?
-
We could invite Zoomie's gay horde back again...
-
I have a baldrick solution.
-
So, what board shall we invade?
-
I want my life of six months ago back. I was posting here a lot, working out 4 days a week and feeling groovy. Now I'm getting slowly bled to death at work, haven't worked out in two months and I feel wrung out.
This summer sucks. It's too hot. I need to get that chalet in Hokkaido
-
I want my (daily) life of 2008 back, except with the current people involved in my life.
First job started at 11:30, then usually went to the next job and rehearsal, played gigs at night/weekends
I guess I dont want the second job, but the getting up at 10 was nice
-
and we hung in philly in 2008

Speaking of Philly... I'll be landing at JFK on 31/12 @ 18:15... gotta figure out how to get to Philly, but that's 10 minutes of internet stalking. Why dont cheap flights from JFK go directly to PHL instead of flying to Pittsburg or Boston first?
Got a room at the Palomar hotel... All are welcome to go like The Who on it...
-
Can I party like Billy Idol?
-
Joe Walsh, dude.
-
Nothing will revive this board. It is a shadow of an echo of a reflection. Most of you don't post regularly because you're already talking to eachother all day on facebook or skype or whatever. I don't post cos I don't have anything to say.
You've all made your friends from A-S. Hang on to them. Let this die (again).
-
Why? Who does it hurt?
-
Yeah, I agree ...
It only costs about $20 a year to run ...
It'd be $12 less if I hosted it on my servers ...
Why not keep it around?
-
Lucky, take your meds. You're being emo again.

Mosh - You can take the NJ Transit NE corridor line From penn station (In NYC) to Trenton (NJ), then transfer to the SEPTA (Philly's transit) "Trenton Line" (Formerly the R7) to get into center city Philly for under $40 bucks.
I don't know how to get to penn from JFK but it looks like this might work? http://www.goairlinknyc.com/index.php (http://www.goairlinknyc.com/index.php)
Or there's probably subway.
Once you are at Penn:
1. New Jersey Transit Rail: Northeast corridor ($15.50)
http://www.njtransit.com/pdf/rail/R0070.pdf (http://www.njtransit.com/pdf/rail/R0070.pdf)
http://www.njtransit.com (http://www.njtransit.com)
2. Septa Regional rail: Trenton Line ($17.50)

http://www.septa.org/index.html (http://www.septa.org/index.html)
total travel (not including getting to Penn Station takes about 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours)
If this looks like something you might do Ill email you exafct station info!
SO EXCITED!

WAit. Nick. weren't you last here summer 2007??? I don't remember you being here in 2008 cause I spent most of late 2007, and the entirety of 2008 depressed, reckless and drunk (some might remember the classic "What's a bitch got to do to get a sandwhich around here" on Tsi)

I am stoked for a Philly reunion. This time, I'm not going to drive back to Baltimore with an awful hang over.
Well.
I might.
It just won't be early in the morning.
White Russians.
-
I'm trying to convince a large client to take a massive system upgrade, if that happens then I'll be in Philly a good bit over the next couple of years.
Fingers crossed. I hope I can come for thanksgiving again because I like pie.
-
Mmm. Pie. http://www.dangerouspies.com/ (http://www.dangerouspies.com/)

Ha.
Haha.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Yeah. Right. Partying with Emp is like bringing a hooker home. When you wake up the next morning all your booze and the hooker are gone.
-
At least I've never given anyone chlamydia!
-
Nick I so hope you come back here often, wait until you see how the house looks!

The saving grace of this board is the stuff folks can discuss here that they would probably not post up on FB.
Although, I'm not sure photos of Kyle's junk are really considered a "saving grace"....

It's ironic that Katie started this thread, she's the most anti toward new blood.
-
... only if she deems them as possibly hotter than she is
-
Yup, and Fyre was def hotter.
-
edit: nvm.
... only if she deems them as possibly hotter than she is
Or those with worse grammar, apparently.
-
...only those with poor grammar.
i'm not necessarily looking for newbs, i suppose it's just a bit disheartening to realize that none of us are as excited to be here anymore because we're all getting so fucking old and boring.
-
... and drunk; can't forget that!
-
...only those with poor grammar.
my grammer and spellng is gooder than most, your just crazy or jeallous, cuz i'm brown innit.
----
Seriously, fuck that, apart from a few mistakes here and there, my grammar is no worse than the majority and definitely not 'poor'.
i suppose it's just a bit disheartening to realize that none of us are as excited to be here anymore because we're all getting so fucking old and boring.
...or people are doing stuff with their lives now..? could be a good thing
-
The latter's not likely ...
-
i'm definitely busy with life stuff, and it's not like i'm not still swearing at strangers on the street for being absolute fucktards. i called someone a "fucking douchebag" today after he messed with me in traffic (he kept motioning for me to pull out into traffic, then he would inch up on me, rinse and repeat about 5 times, on a very busy street in a not-so-nice neighborhood of providence). i definitely do not need to be smashed into by a nasty, uninsured, rustier-than-fyrenza's-lady-pipes hooptie when i'm already late for something and not sure if i'm even legally insured myself at the moment after my last telephone argument with my agent.

The trick will be to figure out which'll be quicker... hanging around JFK for an 8pm direct flight to PHL, or getting to Penn station and taking the Amtrak to 30th St Station... I'm not so fussed about the price.
-
Train better than flying
-
you go fast on ground
-
Plus you can carry your own booze and get wasted on the way.
-
SOLD! Amtrak it is!
-
I want to go to Philadelphia. Let's all go. I sent Mello a present in the mail so maybe she will like me enough to entertain me for a day.
-
I could entertain you for a day. I might need a nap half way through though.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
US northeast rail services halted in morning rush
PHILADELPHIA | Tue Aug 24, 2010 10:36am EDT
Aug 24 (Reuters) - Rail service affecting thousands of commuters throughout the U.S. Northeast was halted for about an hour during the Tuesday morning rush because of a power outage on an Amtrak line.
Amtrak stopped trains between New York, Philadelphia, Washington and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, at about 7:45 a.m. EDT/1145 GMT time when voltage dropped, said Cliff Cole, a spokesman for the passenger rail line in New York.
The outage also halted service on commuter rail lines in New Jersey, southeastern Pennsylvania and Maryland, all of which use Amtrak tracks and power.
DO NOT tell the world you're going to sail...
-
Sail? I'm mad, but not suicidal.
-
Am I even allowed back in Philly?
-
I could entertain you for a day. I might need a nap half way through though.
aww!

I'm watching like, eight or nine different forums at any give time, and I occasionally forget to come look at this one. Also, I'm usually talking to people on IRC or watching reruns of Dexter on Netflix streaming or playing COD:MW on Xbox.

Has your penis shriveled up and died yet, or is it just hiding under your bed?
