And how much potential cash would it take for you to kill someone you know to get away with it?
-
Depends on who it is... Someone like Justin Beiber, I'd do it for free.

Steal from the rich.
Eat the rich.
I'm all for raping the rich.

You guys are skipping out on me, The question is, how much money would it take for you to kill a friend if that was the only way to get away with the loot?
Personally I don't really care much about money since the global economy is nothing but a giant ponzi scheme doomed to failure, but the question still intrigues me.
-
So now it's a friend, eh?
Honestly I'd have problems with killing someone unless I had some sort of animosity toward the person. Jealousy probably wouldn't be sufficient and Greed doesn't include animosity so whether the person was rich or not would be immaterial to me if I was killing him. Unless, like, if he was attacking me with gold bars or something.
-
it's wrong to steal
-
Yeah, personal financial gain really isn't on the list of reasons I would kill someone.
I might kill someone else for being greedy - i.e., if the CEO of Bank of America was sitting in my living room and I was reasonably sure I could get away with it, I would murder him outright.
-
I almost joined BoA. Thank god for that narrow escape.

Yes I upped the ante. It's as if you have done the job but a friend thinks it's wrong and wants to stop you, what do you do?
I have problems too, killing for money just doesn't seem right. Killing the Bush's (the entire family) I would do for free.
-
I think we are missing the broader question: is it wrong that corporations/banks/etc are stealing from us?
-
i would not kill for money or any other gain. I don't think I would kill for revenge, if someone screwed me over it would prove that they don't give a shit about me so why should I care about them? Jealousy? Meh, if i caught someone with my woman I'd just leave, I have demonstrated that I can get get another.
As far as the rich, I refuse to hate someone just because they have money. If they are hurting people to make more it would seem to be the lesser of two evils... but I just don't see myself killing anyone.
Stealing from people who have everything, contribute little and piss on the little guy is another matter entirely.
-
I would kill to protect my family or myself, if it was a kill or be killed situation. I might also be willing to kill to avoid going to prison for the rest of my life, if there were a simple way out. I wouldn't feel good about it, though.

There's 3 different question after reading this far in the thread ...
... I'm not even sure what the question I'm replying to even is at this point
-
Reply anyway.

I think the worse part of that is the propaganda machine has people convinced that they somehow did something to deserve it.
It seemed like some people were catching on in the aftermath of the banking collapse, but somehow a couple of those members of the top 0.1% managed to harness the angst about the financial markets and redirect it towards the black man in the white house.
-
I wouldn't say people think that they deserve it, but you nailed it in the second half. The propaganda machine has made them reject the obvious roots and causes of the problem in favor of the scapegoat of the season. As far as I can see this is accomplished by chanting the same bumper-sticker slogans over and over again. It's remarkably effective. I honestly wouldn't have believed that such a thing would work. It sounds ridiculous on its face... Facts, evidence, and logic versus the same message over and over. I mean we humans are fucking dumb animals.

ZOMG that's awesome.
These days anyone can be rich, you just have to dedicate yourself to it for a while.

No one ever let facts get in the way what they truly believe. Especially when facts might get in the way of their ego.
-
i have a problem with being dishonest.
wow, that can be taken literally, two ways.
no matter what the friend does or does not do, i can't kill them.
even if they have a gajillion dollars, killing them-as a person with deep spiritual beliefs and covio- wouldtrl upset tentr fkarma formn vrinvolveme.
