You can't fight it; though some are really trying hard!

Man that Porsche made a huge fireball. Porsche warned the dealers that this car can not drive over a beer can without causing thousands in damage.
-
Ok, we can talk about that ....
... I still don't get how Porsche reduced quality and neglected to tell everyone
... "Oh, hey; your new Porsche ... Don't drive it like one; ok?"
-
Well your link opened onto a generic page and I didn't see what you were talking about. Unless you were speaking OF TMZ itself. In that case I don't know their history.
www.extramina.in (http://www.extramina.in) recently went through a big tossup and are now calling the site Watching-Now.com. It's still possible to download the movies they have listed but it's and even bigger more annoying run around now.
-
Hmmm ...
It worked for me before ...
It's a before/after pics thing ...
-
To be fair, while Porsche may have made a shitty car...you also shouldn't drive a car that fast anyplace but a track.
-
Well that's the heart of it right there. Porsche built a race car for the track and the dealers wanted it for their upscale clients. Jebus if you pay half a million for a car are you going to drive it on fucked up city streets? They probably hit a fucking speed bump, they are springing up everywhere.

I have a lot of shit blocked Thrash, in several different ways, sometimes sites don't open for me as they do for everyone else. But I tell ya, it's been nice missing out on most of the annoyances on the web.
I should try it with a different browser. Get back to ya on that.
-
Ok I just checked with my other PC using Chrome and I see what you were talking about now.
Why did they call Dukes of Hazzard a moonshine smugglin' show when no moonshine or drinking was ever a part of the show?
Not going to go through all 212 listings. But I'll skim them for nostalgias sake.
Most of what I remember about that series is that they used dynamite taped to arrows a lot and trashed about 50 or 60 chargers.
The exact number is disputed but estimates go as high as 300 during the series and 30 during filming of the movie to as low as 11 all together.
But anyone who ever watched that show and saw how those cars often came down understand that in the next scene that is another vehicle all together and not the one that just made that spectacular jump.
-
Renee O'Connor is really hot still.
Yeah as I scroll through them I may have comments but that is what you wanted right?
She is 28 of 212
-
Ooo Markie Post still hot too.
-
!!! Radar is still alive???
-
Jebus BOZO is still alive.
-
Jerry Mathers looks like a gargoyle.
Better than me though
-
I wasn't sure Barbra Feldon was still alive but I would still do her at 80.
-
Aw crap you know what I just realized? Almost all of these people are younger than me.
-
Oh shit it can't be, Chubby Checker is still alive?
And Timmy from the original Lassie, only 63 now. My wife (x) is older than that.
-
And Connie Stevens too?
-
One thing I have to say, 90% of those shows are ones I never have and would never watch so don't give a shit about the people involved. Societal programing at it's best with some of those.
-
There were a few episodes of TDOH where there was moonshine running ..
Also, remember The Boar's Nest?

Yeah, Uncle Jesse had a still and I swear I remember Bo and Luke unloading jars from the General Lee.
-
They burned it as fuel for the General Lee to get it across the state lines in more than one episode ...
-
Was Hazzard County supposed to be Georgia, Kentucky or Iowa? Those are the states I found on Google with such counties.
Was it even supposed to be a county or simply a town?
I could never really get past watching the cars get fucked up in one scene and be perfect in the very next shot. I was kinda busy back in the day, Daisy was the only thing I ever paid attention to.
-
I'll hazzard a guess and say it probably wasn't Iowa.
-
Georgia ...
They made mention of other cities and counties within Georgia as well ...
-

Iowa grows a LOT of corn!
My son has a small still now and is experimenting with various options for mash. Last time I was over he had a pot full of persimmon mash he was cooking down. And he doesn't even hardly drink.
He has a lot of problems with ants at his house, their queen must be insane because the last thing they went after was a sack of potatoes. I don't remember what they went after last time but it was something equally ridiculous. I told him half as joking that he should try to make a mash completely out of ants, as an exotic liquor.

Yes, of course. But when I think of cars with the confederate flag on their roof, I don't think Iowa.

I dont know if you guys had Autoramas where you lived, but we had them in Vegas when I was a kid. I met Tom Wopat (Luke Duke) got his autograph. He was a complete douche. The General Lee was there. I loved that show! Wopat was a let down though. The next year, they had knight rider, so KITT was there, the talking car. And David Hasselhoff. Now that guy was cool. I mean he was fun and good natured with his fans, believe it or not. And I met Twiki from Buck Rogers. Still more personality than Wopat.
-
Hahahahaha!!!

That makes sense. I think most of the bad publicity he's gotten has been because he's a major drunk, and because he's sort of a joke in general. I don't think I've ever heard anything about him being an asshole to people.
-
... I don't think I have either

How about THIS LINK (http://www.tmz.com/photos/2007/12/20/740-memba-them/images/2014/03/19/0319-jamie-malcolm-in-the-middle-now-photos-768-launch-jpg/)
-
That was interesting. I clicked through all of them.
-
Yeah, I thought so too ...
Some aged well; others ...
.... well, not so much
-
What I noticed most about that is a lot of them are STILL young. Except for a few, I'm older than most of them.
-
This does not bode well for my desire to revisit the wonders of LSD.
-
I dunno; maybe thay'd look older then ...
-
Here's another "then and now" ...
.... most look about the same
... others, not quite
... others aren't as "recent" as they claim (Applegate, for one)
