I've been debating promoting this place for traffic; I just have no idea where I'd do it ...
We're a "specialized" group of posters; I've no idea who would even "get" this place, walking in "fresh" ...

It's a conundrum isn't it. If we could only get all the old posters to come back it could liven things up, but I guess that's not likely. A-S had a good hook that brought in a varied slice of people.  L-G? I don't know what our hook could be, especially since most of the people here are actually against guns. 

And gun nuts wouldn't be a good slice anyway.

Yep a conundrum. Would be nice to get a few new oddballs up in here though.

... it has a lot of the same issues in regards to specific traffic

You guys can raid my forum. But my posters are mostly older folks from the discontinued AOL boards so you have to be gentle. They are pretty cool folks actually. It's been pretty slow over there too so maybe a raid would wake them up. We need something to get people off facebook and such. Wolverines Unite!
