Post by: FAH-Q on April 04, 2009, 07:05:26 PM: Anyone else dig? I'm fairly new to it, but have been a major fan of Tiger Army since we saw 'em a couple years ago. They fucking rock.

Slap-bass in general is awesome. Anyone else dig the genre? Recommendations?

Certainly some good songs by Rev. Horton Heat and the Young Werewolves. Does Screamin' Jay Hawkins count? I think the last psychobilly band I was listening to was Damage Done by Worms.

Great show. Big psychobilly scene down here.

The Rev. Horton Heat is definately a great place to start. I'd look at the Cramps too...

Thats always annoyed me. Brisbane is a good place for music, but for some reason the billy just didn't pick up here.
