Title: WooHoo
Post by: Tru on October 01, 2015, 10:30:19 PM
Emily Deschanel is back! Dr. Temperance Brennan.

They just started Season 11 (Bones) and I thought she was gone for good last year.

I had to stop watching that show when it got too damn stupid.

Edit:  And if *I* think it's stupid, that deserves some thought.

"The Smithsonian" which they supposedly work at/and or for, sucks ass. For decades they never mentioned Tesla but had several of his devices displayed with Edison's name stuck on them. This was not an accident. So yeah the show ... gotta just take it with a grain of salt.
Maybe their "Smithsonian" is a different group because why would the actual Smithsonian care about current murders forensics and shit.
<edit>
And that just reminds me of all the little "Comic Book" like hand outs we were given in school as children. They explained the power grid system alright but gave every bit of credit to Edison and there was never any mention of a "crackpot" named Tesla throughout my entire curriculum. So much for American history.

Hahahah Tesla's stuff with Edison's name on it?  That is hilarious.

Get it?  Like he stole them.  Because he stole lots of shit.

I've never been interested in the concept of the show ...

I liked it better before she got all domesticated with children. But on the other hand having children never bothered me with Peggy Bundy.
That is exactly the sort of woman I really liked teasing back in the day.

Turns out I had it wrong a point that was made over and over in the last episode.
it's not the Smithsonian it's a fabrication based on the Smithsonian called The Jeffersonian.

What I said about the Smithsonian was still true, though it had nothing to do with the show.
