Didn't watch the movie, but the end result of the internet was always more likely to be increased social control.

I sometimes think that reports about the censorship in China, citizen rating, etc. are partly a game of projection: point out that they're doing it over there, just ignore that we're on the same path here.

Yes and I got a lot of hell for this from people
but there was a short few years when you could speak you mind anonymously, not any more.
