The  M.2 NVMe Interface Internal Solid State Drive with V-NAND Technology is the fastest drive you can get today beating the crap out of other common SSD's.

No, older MB's are doomed.
Even this is just another of the baby steps allowed us. Even current shit will be obsolete soon. That is how they work for maximum profit, by having 10 years or more of development in the can and doling it out a dribble at a time.
